Hi all, I came here seeking knowledge on why when I'm playing Fifa 11 online, I could play ranked matches like normal against people I dont know but when I wanna play against people on my friends list, it wont let me. It tells me that I cant join his party or game and vice versa. If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hopefully this nonsense doesn't happen for when MK comes out sad

P.S: I dont know how relevant this is but, I have a PS3 as well, and when I tried playing with friends on PSN it worked absolutely fine on every occasion.

You are probably having a NAT issue. You can fix it up Here .

If this doesn't work, post back. Tell your friend to do this also, as it would help increase the likelihood of it working.

Well see, back in October me and the same friend were playing fifa 10 and it worked. I also did this a while back and in Fifa 11 it says my NAT is open. So I'm gonna guess that its either his xbox or something else.

Thanks for helping btw. Appreciate it man

No problem. Link your friend to that so he can fix his NAT (if he is having issues with his). I would suggest just unplugging his router and plugging it back in. That usually changes the NAT of my xbox and my brothers, and may save some time.
