No matter who comes in and says 'i know for a fact', nobody knows who started 4:20. The most popular rumor is these dudes in Cali would meet up after school and toke, which happened to be 4:20, but that could be bullshit too. Just like blade said I do not know for fact who started the 420 rule. BUT I do know that it came from propostion 420 in Cali that said something along the lines of no doctor shall be punished for administering medicinal marijuana. Google it if you don't beleive me.

Shit, you're right...I was in 8th grade when it happened, and since it was 4/20 it had to be '99. For some reason it seems like it was earlier...but, I guess not. BTW I'm not a pothead...people may tell me I look like one, but I'm not into drugs at all. Except beer, but only in moderation, and not really to get drunk. I won't be smoking pot today, or any day soon. But if you want to, go ahead, as long as you do it safely I have no problem with it.

Acctually thats right on the money... code 420 is the metropolitan police code for Possesion of illegal (non-medicinal) Mari Jane, and keep it safe if you do get you hands in some... for you everyday tokers however, today should be the day you decide to get some Blaze or Crpt or whatever's quality and your source hasen't hiked up the price for yet... oh yeah keep it safe...
