I've had a chick call me over 60 times in one hour.

I'm not a girl, but I had a really bad experience when i was younger. A friend of mine played a joke on me, and some how managed to get me to call this girl probably a good 15 times in 1 day (I think it was within a 6 hr time span). Needless to say i was pretty pissed. My general rule now is to make no more than 2-3 attempts in 1 day regardless of of the communication method and if you don't hear from her, don't bother making any other attempts to contact her for a whole week.

I've had some pretty weird ex boyfreinds in the past, but takes a lot to actually freak me out. Sure it's annoying when some guy keeps calling you, but it's just a phone. You can ignore it, you don't have to deal with it. If he won't leave you alone you can just have his number barred from your phone.

I had one ex who really did scare me though, turned really creepy, would hang out around me, take pictures of me through my windows, real serious stalker shit....

Yea been there... I guess depending on the girl, it can be funny or scary.

A police officer and a restraining order worked just as well, sadly.

I personally don ́t call, unless I really really need to talk to you. If not, I rather text is more efficient.

I had this ugly girl text me everyday for 2/3 weeks. It was kind of sad and creepy because I didn't text back once so she didn't take hint but it was my fault as well my friend's wee sister. I snog her when I was REALLY drunk, I couldn't see thing but some how she started snoging me. My friend wee sister toke my phone off me for while and gave ugly girl my number. She still annoying because she hasn't really got over me and try to be my friend but I just can't stand her because she is annoying as hell. So now I got become arsehole now just to get away from her.

What I learn that if girl doesn't reply means three things

1. She busy

2. She forgot to reply

3. She doesn't like you

Thats why I got trick I do. Only phone/ email/ text/ facebook message her twice in one day (with big gap between them). I do it twice because like I said: She could be busy or forgot to reply. If she doesn't reply with in next day then it likely means she doesn't like you. If it happends then don't send any more messages unless she replys back. If you want to reply back then wait a while before replying back.

For some strange reason, I'm feeling very, very old with this one. I grew up in an area that actually had a party line (more than one household using the same phone-line) and there were no cell phones, email, text, etc. We actually used the post office for more than receiving junk mail and bills.

Since now there are so many ways to contact someone, its very easy to become an annoyance and end up just being ignored when you attempt to contact someone. To help prevent being one of those who call, text, etc too much to the point that you get ignored like that 1-888 number on the caller ID please use some common sense and courtesy.

If you are just calling to talk or ask out on a date, call once or twice and text once. If its important (ie a relative is hurt and need to leave town) then call two or three times and leave a message if possible. Text once and send an email if possible. This way if its a life or death situation (ie Zombie Invasion) then your attempts to contact that person is less likely to be ignored so if need try multiple times but don't end up tying up the lines.
