Do you buy doubled dipped dvds that you already own, or do you wait till future release of the same dvd movie to buy it?

I personly don't buy the same dvd twice because of extra's. For example I have Matrix reloaded,Matrix Revolutions, and Kill Bill. I 've heard these dvds will be double dipped in the future, with tons of new stuff. To me all I need is a movie that looks great and is in 5.1 for me to buy it. I hope to hear more opinions about this.

I get angry when i buy a movie and later hear they are re-releasing it. When they re-release it, i dont buy it. I dont really care much for the extras anyways. All i care about is for the movie itself.

Same here. But if your interested on how they made the film the re-released version is for you.Why can't they add everything on the very 1st version of the DVD instead of re-releasing it?
The answer lies in the dollar sign.

It depends, especially with Superbit DVDs - they have the better picture, but lack the extras.

Like the upcoming re-re-release of spiderman. They came out with the first release. It was plain and stuff. Then with a speacial edition 2 disc collectors, and now 2 more different versions a "superbit" and some other. Im thinking this is going to start happening to many more movies from now on. WHY!! oh WHY!!

Normally I have a knack for knowing when to wait and when not to. I waited on Resevoir Dogs, and got the Tenth Anniversary edition. I waited for Dogma and got the Bible version. I waited for Who Framed Roger Rabbit and got the Anniversary edition. The only time I ever missed was with The Fellowship of the Rings, but I ended up going out and buying the book version anyway, cause the the complete trilogy isn't going to have as many extras.
