When using a two framed page, and posting a link to another page, what is the tag to close the other frame. Do you need to open the page in a new window and close the current page?

Make a link like this in either frame:

I know that but what if I don't want it in a new window?

Try it before asking questions.
target="top" implies opening the link on top of everything, thus on top of both frames.

Ehm, try:
target="_top"
With an underscore.

(Since I've been making pages in XHTML 1.0 Strict, I've forgotten a few HTML 4 things, heh)
