Origa (birth name Ol'ga Yakovleva) passed away on Saturday due to lung cancer. She was 44 years old.

This fucking sucks. Rip you brilliant singer.

If you dont know who she is, shes probably most famous for singing the opening to Ghost in the Shell SAC and 2nd GIG. Inner Universe and Rise were my favorite songs.

Didn't know of her, don't really follow all of the Japanese games and such, but it sounds like she was talented and she was young, so rip and may your journey hereafter be an amazing one.
