Official movie line up as follows:

Devon Aoki .... Kasumi
Derek Boyer .... Bayman
Sarah Carter .... Helena Douglas
Collin Chou .... Hayate
Steve Howey .... Weatherby
Kane Kosugi .... Ryu Hayabusa
Natassia Malthe .... Ayane
Matthew Marsden .... Maximillian Marsh
Chad McCord .... Chief Detective
Kevin Nash .... Bass
Jaime Pressly .... Tina Armstrong
Eric Roberts .... Donovan
Robin Shou .... Pirate Leader
Silvio Simac .... Leon
Holly Valance .... Christie Allen
Brian J. White .... Zack

I just saw the final cut of the teaser that's going to be in theatres any day now. I'll be honest, it looks dumb as hell but entertaining. The main girls from the game team up in a Charlie's Angels sort of way and fight hordes of ninjas and pirates and crap. In addition to Robin Shou being in another fighting game adaptation, charecters Ryu and Ayane from Ninja Gaiden are also in the movie as well.

Ok, I'm gone now.
Sounded lame back then, still sounds lame.

Hollywood sucks.

Holly Valance?
Raiden Guy?
"Pirate Leader"?
Ninja Gaiden crossover?
Charlies Angels?
Kevin "13 Knee Reconstructions" Nash?

This movie sound very interesting. Very crap, but very interesting nonetheless. I'm looking forward to it. I can't ever remember hearing about a successful fighting game to live action movie conversion, maybe this will set the standard for the likes of Tekken and Soul Calibur.

(PS: Aren't you a pie?)

Personally, I don't think that the new tekken movie or DOA will be as good as the first MK movie imo.But hey you never know?

I find it amusing how DOA is borrowing a MK actor for one of their guys lol.

Well, if you gurads wern't so lazy and feckless, MAYBE they would have seen the producers digging a tunnel under the toilet leading to your front yard.

Hmmmm... Seems that the show Prison Break has been on my mind more than I thought.

No Gen-fu huh? Man, I watched the trailer and I'm 10% more excited.

It's like Resident Evil, the film would be so much better if it wasn't supposed to be "Resident Evil". I mean, in the trailer at the start Ayane and Kasumi are working together...wtf?

They are as we speak man, or if not now are getting their shit together.

Official news about that so far is a few things, but here are Guaranteed inked actors so far:

Linden Ashby-Johnny Cage again(same guy from the first movie)
Christopher Lambert-As Raiden again from the first movie(Thank GOD!)
Chris Cassamassa-Scorpion( from the first movie/MK:Comquest TV show)Nice!

These are all facts!!!!Also Robin Shoe is back as Lui Kang, they just haven't posted it yet on the site that I check out, perhaps others, but he will be back for sure, he was quoted saying so.

Questions, are who else?Storyline?Who will play Sonya again?Sub-Zero, Kenshi will be in the third movie etc, etc.I think he will be though.

Anyway, sorry for going off topic, for DOA that old man looks a lot like Gen from SF Alpha. If the girls pop out like the do in the game, I see it regardless if the movie sucks or not.

They were supposedly set to film the movie in Florida (earlier this year), but the entire hurricane ordeal caused them to relocate (not to mention slow down production) . Keith Cooke (Reptile in MK & Subzero in MKA) is set to play Sub-Zero. Whereas Adoni Manopis (MK Conquest Quan Chi) is set to play Quan Chi & Fujin's supposed to be in the film as well. Rumors are speculating that Shang Tsung's expected to be in the film, who he's played by is unknown, I'm however anticipating Bruce Locke.

As far as DOA, well it's hard to image the film having much debt (plot) to it when the games themselves have very little. Softcore porn at most.

Yeah, I just checked the update, everything you said matches, I liked the guy that played Quan-Chi from the TV show, Bruce Locke or the guy from the first movie would be great, hope they choose one of them.

I only heard that Fugin was originally supposed to be in the film, but hey if he is thats great too. There was a rumor that the guy that played Raiden in Conquest will play Fugin or possibly Shao Kahn if he should return in the next one.It also said that Lui Kang will NOT be the one to die in the third movie.Of course anything can change, but sounds good.Keith Cook, yes he's a good subby.

I'm pissed they killed Ermac off in the second one, hopefully they can resurrect him and make him good.

And for DOA Now I WILL Definitely see it because of three reasons,

1.Robin Shao(from MK)
2.The hot girls
3.Sarah Carter is this really, really hot chick from Smallville, she got killed off, but Smallville fans on here know who she is, the teleport girl. She's a blond, OMG she's so HOT!!!

Actually it's not a Hollywood movie. It's just a poor Germany/UK production and that why it will suck tongue A budget of 30 million US$ isn't bad though for a european movie. But still Hollywood is the first choice for Action movies.
