So a few days ago I seen this story about COD player Swatting prank.

Apparently it's new prank trend where someone managed to trick the emergency services and gets a swat team sent to a persons house. Seriously, WTF is wrong with people now a day?! This is only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt or killed with this.

In the article apparently some gamer lost a match of Call of Duty and had a swat team called to the house of the player who beat him.

This article Dangers of Swatting explains more of how it started. Apparently it started with hackers in CA basically doing this to celebrities and vbloggers and streamers in hopes of having them pulled off camera live stream.

With the way social media is all connected, it wouldn't be hard for someone online to get a persons address. Someone gets butt hurt on a forum and the next thing they're doing is sending a swat team to the other persons house.

This is the first time I've ever heard of it and the more i read about swatting, the more I just shake my and say WTF?!
