The other two people wearing the pig masks were never revealed. We can only guess that it was two other survivors and not people that Gordon paid off.

The movie was great if you ask me. It answered all of the qiestions that were being asked. Sure people say that they made to many of the movies and it got repetitive, but honestly... At least it was a horror series with an actual plot. Hack and slash movies get really boring but I easily got really into the SAW plot because it was one that I had to follow the small details of the movie to get the full understanding. All of the small hints at Gordon are good examples of this. The 3D was also actual 3D unlike 90% of other "3d" movies...

I did see the Gordon thing coming since the second movie though. You can tell in the footage from Saw II that the person performing the eye surgery for the Venus Fly Trap was limping just like Gordon would have if he survived. Any other SAW related questions, about anything in the series; feel free to ask here or PM me about it. I pretty much know the entire series

Those are unanswered questions. You do know that saw 3D wasn't the last saw right?

Can I please have a source stating that Saw: The Final Chapter is indeed just a regular series entry?

Back when Saw 3D: The Final Chapter was just Saw VII there was a sequel that was planned but then they switched the title after the 8th movie was cancelled.

I'm aware of this. When they switched Saw 7 to the final one, they incorporated part of the Saw 8 plot into Saw 7. Since the switch there was no indication of there actually being a saw 8.

Actually, that was in fact the official title for the 3d version , but it received poor reception, so they shortened it simply to "Saw 3D."

"Saw: The Final Chapter" has always been the film's true title, which is why it seen as such on the DVD cover.

Hopefully, the DVD special features will explain who the extra pigs were.

I got a question... why didn't this series end like four movies ago?

I refuse to watch this one, I can't believe how silly and out of control this series has gotten. And I thought it was one of the best horror series out there, but I guess I was wrong.

The series didn't end four movies ago because they felt the need to answer all of the questions people were asking. Most of all people wanted to know if Gordon was alive and the probably figured that they could keep an interesting plot while giving little notes about him to keep making money. The series may seem like "oh god another apprentice" but believe me, after you watch the last one you will be able to tell pretty much why each one helped Jigsaw.

I can see why they did this after reading what you wrote. But I still think that seven is too much. I'm not sure how many would be satisfied like I would be but I like movies with endings that leave you with an ending that you have to figure it out on your own.

But, I don't know. I don't really get why horror films need to have so many sequels when many series have had horrible sequels. I might go see this, I'm still weary about it.

I despise endings like that. I like movies that offer closure, because it's not like real life where eventually we'll all figure it out. This is fiction, once it's over it's over. I want a proper ending where characters' stories are tied up. I'm cool with a few open ended elements, but the main plot must always be resolved, or I leave the theater pissed

Dude their were so many unanswered questions if you watched the whole series you would know that its going to be a saw 8.They didn't answers alot of questions like did hoffman survive? Who were the two guys in the pig mask? What happen to bobby after his wife died? And what ever happen to eric mathews son? You need to ask you're self those questions

Well Saw 3D does leave you with its own set of questions but not questions that would impact SO much that they would really make much off of creating another movie that would answer them. Like ok we have "who were the other 2 people" "what happened to Bobby's Wife" "Does anyone figure out about Gordon" "Does Hoffman escape"... but honestly....

- The other two people can remain a mystery and have people guessing, kind of with an inception type feel except it doesnt make you question every single event in the movie.
- I don't think anyone really cares about what happened to him.... We never found out about Matthew's son after the second movie so who would care about him.
- More mystery about Gordon
- Hoffman could have done what Matthew's did and break his foot to free from the cuff, but where would he go after that? The door was closed and locked, and unless Hoffman had a key with him to open the door which I doubt he would carry the key to that bathroom at all times..... he is rotting to death in there. If he did escape, he would have no work left to do, because all of the traps were apparently constructed and jigsaw left the work for Hoffman. Since Jigsaw was the engineer of the group Hoffman would not know how to make the traps and would be left with no traps to use unless he cleaned off a trap and re used it. The only trap he made was the Seth Baxter trap which was shown to have flaws to it to tell that Jigsaw didn't make it himself.

That's just looking for questions that don't need answers. Why do any of those questions matter?
Did Hoffman survive? You're left to assume he didn't survive, and that's just the way it's supposed to end. Do we really have to see every second of the rest of Hoffman's life to feel like the question has been answered?

The other people in the pig masks were probably other survivors from the survivor group. It doesn't matter who they were, how could their identity matter at all? To anything?

Eric Matthews' son was found by the police force once the safe opened... He's safe in his home. End of story.

There aren't lots of questions to answer unless you're interested in irrelevant things like the stuff you asked about.
I mean, did Jill Tuck have a twin sister?
Whatever happened to Cecil's corpse?
What brand of shampoo did Amanda use?
If Hoffman was saving Jeff's daughter... WHO IS FLYING THE PLANE?!

According to the DVD commentary, Gordon's "assistants" are Ryan and Brad from the beginning of the movie.

Can you find a clip of this? I am yet to pick up the DVD since I am probably going to wait until a complete set of the series is released (hopefully inside of a Billy Replica or a literal giant jigsaw piece). I may pick it up before a set is released but please find/upload a clip of this to confim.

EDIT: I Found a confirmation of this on Wikipedia but since that page can simply be edited by anyone it isn't always true. Since you did post this before I found it though, I believe it is true but still would enjoy a clip. Unless of course you found this out from wikipedia also
