I think France will win again. They played very well against Brazil two days ago. Zidane and T.Henry are in good shape and that new player Mindy proved he's good.

Yeah, unfortunately I have to agree with you. They have the best 2 players in the world in Zidane and Henry, then they've got Vieira, Pires, Saha, Silvestre, Trezeguet, Wiltord, Barthez, Cisse - the list goes on and on!

I think Italy will win... The Netherlands like to think they're great but it's the last chance of their golden generation. Portugal faces the same problem. England, France and Germany will disappoint imo, although I've always been a great fan of the Mannschaft, heh.

A pity Belgium couldn't compete but oh well, we'll crush everyone at the World Championship in 2006 :).

as a fellow brit i am distgusted u call the sport soccer when we all know we named it football b4 the US called that other sport the same thing. Y they decided 2 steal our name i don't no, they spend 75% of the time carrying the dam thing in their hands!!!!!

phew newayz i think france r just 2 gd 2 b beaten euro 2004 will revolve around them. if they play gd they will win, if they don't hopefully england will otherwise i'm goin 4 italy

i really would like to see England win but Erikkson has made some bad squad selections (nut to be fair, some are due to injury), but I must commend him on the inclusion of Jamie Carragher, who in my eyes is a great player. I think it'll be either France or Spain. Both are truly great teams IMO.

I hop The Netherlands will win the cup, tthey are doing great things now and are playing like a team again.

Van NIstelrooy and Makaay in the forward position should result in lots of goals.

But to be perfectly honest i'm placing my money on Portugal, they have the home advantage. And they can really play.

I was born and lived in England for 11 years, but after living in Canada for 7 years it kind of sticks in your brain - plus I used to fight that name all the time in 97/98 but I was wasrting my breath, and now I've become accustomed to it. What's even better is that I had actualy wrote, "For all you football (sorry soccer) fans out there..." and as soon as I changed it I knew someone would point it out! Valid point though...Hey for the 2006 World Cup I'll remember to write 'football' ok?
