funny how this idea just suddenly popped into my head but i was thinking...you guys should create a file sharing program similiar to Kazaa and WinMX. granted, its exclusive to MK content and it isn't a memory hoar like Kazaa. just think, it would be a great way for users to share mk-related files such as art, videos, and music with other users. even if someone were to create an art or video file and wanted to share it with the rest of the board members then all they would have to do is load up the MK Online file-sharing program and it's done. the best part, you guys won't have to worry about server issues b/c you won't be hosting the files. wink what's more, if there was a certain trailer that was posted but recently taken down via request of Midway () then all one would have to do is load up the MK Online FSP and download it from another user who already has the file saved on their computer. thoughts?

p.s. did you guys upgrade the server? b/c there are currently 80 people logged on and i haven't had any trouble accessing this site yet. grin

Good idea. It would be done using BitTorrent.

I was wondering the same thing earlier. There were 93 people on, and I had no problems at all. Even replying to threads wasn't a problem.grin

Great idea on the file sharing. It could work, but it would need to be moderated so people wouldn't abuse it.

BitTorrent is a program that allows you to upgrade very large files over the Internet. While you're downloading, other people can also upload from the file you're downloading. I use it to download subtitled Anime from animesuki.com .
And yes, it is impossible to lick your elbow. I tried it and it doesn't work.

lol. alas, you have fallen into the 75 percent category. anywho, i've asked the staff directly through email and they...well actually Mobster said that it was a good idea but the few who abused it would ruin it for all of us seeing as how they want to stay on Midways good side. which is a good thing since afterall it is Midway who allows them special access to Gamers Day and whatnot. btw, i downloaded the BitComet program(the upgraded version of BitTorrent) and i feel in love. although there are popups, at least it isn't a memory muncher like Kazaa. thanx for the find. *goes to uninstall Kazaa*

The road to hell is paved in good intentions.
All the best laid plans soon corrupt.
The pillar of truth has a hole.
The sands of time wear all things.

Just a few quotes that came to mind reading this...
