Steam has just announced that TF2 is now free if anyone wants it.

yeah, but you can't trade or gift, you can only hold 50 items, and you don't have access to many crafting blueprints with a free account. Oh, and making any purchase to the Mann Co. Store gives you a premium account, which is bull because some weapons are $0.50

yeah, Team Fortress 2 is now 50 cents...

when TF2 came out it didn't have any of that and it was worth the 50 bucks then, but its also worth 50 cents if I do say so myself.

Actually, there are like TWO good things I've noticed

1.existing users get a free hat

2.if I coach a freebie and they purchase the game and recommend me, then I get a free item.
