I watched She's All That last night and came to a realization I've been fighting with for years now. I totally enjoy teen romantic comedies in a completely non-ironic way. Movies like She's All That, Can't Hardly Wait, Pretty in Pink, etc. I enjoy them all.

I don't know why! It doesn't matter how cliche or how unrealistic. Watching people find that one special spark and last hurrah during the whole end of high school moment gets me every time.

Am I alone in this? Come on, share some special moments from teen rom-coms that take you back to high school, to the 80s or 90s, or just that one period of time where you realize just how great everything was even when it wasn't.

Well, there are three movies I consider the holy trinity of chick flicks. And I enjoy them all very much - The Hot Chick, White Chicks, and Mean Girls.

She's All That is great, especially since I saw it after I saw Not Another Teen Movie. It made me appreciate Not Another Teen Movie even more.
