The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim confirmed at VGAs
First off, let me get this off of my chest.
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMGOOOOODDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soundtrack exceeded what I had hoped for. For those of you unfamiliar with the back story of the Elder Scrolls, this will likely be (or what I think will be) the plot. In the teaser, the man spoke of a foretold return of a mysterious group who feared a Dragon Born, then it showed a dragon breathing life into some statues. This is likely referring to the Akaviri, who will try to invade Tamriel for the second time. There is a dragon king in one of the Akaviri provinces as well, Ka Po Tun. There is a book that can be found in Oblivion that tells of the Akavirii kingdoms and races, and how one kingdom wishes to invade Tamriel when they can. Look for Mysterious Akavir.
This is my educated guess as to what the plot could be, I'll get more into the specifics when I can re-read some stuff and confirm what I remember. As you can tell I'm a huge fan of the series, and November 2011 is way to far for me. EDIT: Here is a link to that book. Mysterious Akavir ___________________________________________________________ However, when I think back on this theory, I could be wrong. The first akaviri war took place before the dynasty of the Septims. (Dragon Born) I think this is the only franchise that I can openly call myself a nerd about, haha. ___________________________________________________________ Also, when it speaks of "The sons of Skyrim spilling their own blood," this likely points to a civil war that has broken out across Tamriel. This was hinted at several times in Oblivion. Keep in mind that the Imperial race stems from the Nords, and are the dominant race of Tamriel at the time, so this could be a symbolic reference. So, my final theory is that Tamriel is fighting a civil war, a foreign or forgotten race comes in to fuck everybody's day up, and this "Dragon Born" will likely have to re-unite the provinces and drive the new menace out.

Aw I thought we were getting a gameplay trailer
you should really change that to "teaser" dude.
Looks awesome, and the music is incredible. Can't wait til we actually get some gameplay footage. It'll be interesting to see what they've changed and stayed with from Oblivion.

Oblivion is one of my favourite games ever. Modded, at least. I'm excited.
