Eh I'm not to sure about this. I am a fan of Godzilla films (duh), but I have so far disliked all of the millenium films that I've watched, except for G2000. The other two that I've seen were sucky. My main gripe with Godzilla versus Megaguirus, aside fro all the rediculous shite, is the fact that they made the dragonfly "fly" with the most obvious set of wires in the entire series. And I don't want to say to much, but GMK was IMHO, the worst G-film since Godzilla's Revenge.

It's scheduled for December 11th in Japan. Since it's the 50th anniv, they are going to release it here too, but I don't know the date. I'm also worried about the effects too. The makers of Godzilla know how to fuk up special effects but a few of the Godzilla movies had good effecs so hopefull this will. Plus I'm sure they want to nail this one. But we'll see. Hopefully Sony/Tri-Star will edit some SFX to make them better with the American release?? I'll let you know when we find out more.

So, do you think Godzilla will definately lose, or will they film a Godzilla versus Destroyah "tie"? My hopes on the latter.

I heard that he will lose, but that doesn't make sense to me. Why lose on the anniversary? And if this Monster X beats Godzilla, then who is going to kill this monster? Becaus I think Godzilla will kill all the other monsters (Rodan, Gorosaurus, Angilas, ect.). I'll be upset to see him die, I was upset the other 2 (actually 3, cuz in Godzila vs. MechaGodzilla 2, he died but Rodan brought him back to life). But this will be the last Godzilla film for a decade (at least), plus the 50th anniersary, yeah I'll be upset. I kind of guessed he would die, but they better make him look cool as hell in the process.

The director of this movie made the huge comic book movie Azumi. His films are considered the Japanese counterpart to Quentin Terrantino's Kill Bill films. Hmmmmm.

Also, yeah the Millenium films havent been geat. I agree with you about Godzilla X Megaguiras, but I loved GMK. Most fans do, so what didn't you like about it? Godzilla against MechaGodzilla sucked. SFX blew and for the first time Godzilla ran away from a fight! . AND I'm sick of seeing the same monsters aain and again! MechaGodzilla, King Ghidrah, and Mothra need to die forever. Sadly, Ghidorah will be back.

Godzilla Jr. died in Godzila vs. Destroyah, but when Godzila melted in that movie, all the radiation brought junior back to life.

Supposedly this Godzilla film will be 110 minutes long, which is longer than most of the Godzilla films.

The cost to make th film is more than any other Godzilla movie. It is more than 9 million dollars.

It seems as landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and Sydney Opera House will have some encounters wth the Big G.

Finally, many rumors out there are that Monster X is actually another Godzilla. If this is true then I woud imagine it to be he original one from 1954. According to the rumors, the "desperate" Japanese Government allows the cloning of Godzilla so that the two will fight. What makes sense about this is that I can't see any other monster besides another Godzilla killing him.

If you have watched the last two Godzilla films, Godzilla X MechaGodzilla and Godzill X Mothra X MechaGodzilla, then you would know that MechaGodzilla was created from DNA taken from the 1954 Godzilla skeleton and is part Godzilla itself. However, Godzilla: Final Wars is a stand alone film and not a sequal to those movies, just the original.

Monster Zero News hasupdated it's site again and the official Godzilla site is updated as well (if you can speak Japanese, check it out).

While they are working at monster zero news to translate the updates, they have released sketches of the new Godzilla and the new Gigan. Godzilla, as of right now, looks no different at all then he has in his last two flms. Gigan looks pretty cool as he has an upgraded look. Pretty cool to check out.

Also, they hae "shadows" of the other monsters as they will reveal them at different times it seems. You do see their major outlines though so you have some idea. Angilas looks like he is going to look cool, as with Rodan, Kamacuras, and Ebirah. Monster X looks to be a completely new monster, nothing like Godzilla. Also,it is now said that Gorosaurus and Ghidorah are not in the movie, however, Hedorah is.

Other note: Just watched Godzilla X MechaGodzilla and GMK the other day. The more I watch Godzilla X MechaGodzilla the more I like it. I think I understand now that Godzilla didn't want to fight MechaGodzilla because it sensed the '54 Godzilla under the armor. And GMK is still wonderful. I love it, I think it may actually be my favorite due to how I love how Godzilla is portrayed in this movie. I kind of wish that GMK was just coming into theaters his year as the 50th anniversary film, because I think everything is perfect about it. From the idea of Godzilla bein a dark God driven to destroy Japan by souls of the undead, from the way he overpowers the three Guardian monsters and relentlessly attacks them, to Godzilla's hatred for every single person he encounters, and for it's down-but-not-out ending it has. The perfect Godzilla film.
