posted10/11/2004 03:55 PM (UTC)bysubzero_fl1pif any of you have seen the commercial for this new japanese horror movie i think they would agree with me. This possibly might be 1 of da scariest movies yet. They took all the scariest parts of movies into this 1 horror flick. They took da gurl frum the ring cept now its a boy...they took the excorcist concept with the girl going down the stairs, they took dat creepy girl with a mask from darkness falls, took a scary shower scene from psycho and brought upon a new baby type creature in mirrors. If any1 agrees with me please post ur comments.

I've seen both Japanese versions of Ju-On;The Grudge. The "American" version looks pretty much the same since it is filmed by the same director. But I personally think that Sarah michelle Gellar sucks.

Now I don't know if there's a word for this, but it's like a "sense of humor", but not, more like a "sense of scaredness". Is there a word for that? 'Cause most of the time the majority of the youth of today think that certain scary movies are scary, but they're really not(to me atleast). I find lots of "scary" movies scary, but usually not the ones kids today go "Oh my gosh that was scary dude!" to. Anyone who shares the same thoughts as me, have an opinion on this movie? (Note: The Ring was origianally a Japanese horror(thriller?), and everyone said it was the scariest thing ever, while it didn't really scare me)

Yeah, I saw the Japanese version during the summer, hands down the scariest movie I've ever seen. If anyone is remotely interested in horror/suspense movies, they owe it to themselves to see The Grudge.
Sorry for this but...
The Grudge runs rings...around....the ring.... *cringe*
Oh, and if it's in your area, go see Shaun of the Dead.
