As a DJ/Producer, one of my biggest passions is broadening the musical tastes of friends and strangers. This thread is aimed to do just that. The rules are simple. I'll post the song I'm currently listening to. The next user can either post the song they are listening to, or the first song my track makes them think of. You take a song, listen to it, then you leave a song.

If you have any lyrics you feel like posting, go for it! This thread serves the purpose of expanding the musical tastes of your fellow users, as well as appreciating music as the art it is. I don't care what genre you post, it's free game. Just don't be a blatant troll. (inb4 Rick Astley.) Think of this thread as the "What song are you currently listening to?" thread, but with a real example.


So, enough of my rambling, let's give MKO some volume!

Metal head through and through. I like to listen to other stuff too, but metal is my number one genre of music.

Hmm...for some reason that Nero song reminded me of Ultra Nate's 'Automatic.' Not really sure why..

Warning = Video is not work-safe. (Nearly naked men touching themselves in scenes, essentially having orgasms later, a creepy blow-up doll, and some BDSM elements. Excellent song to work out to, though.)

I don't really like certain genres, I like certain bands and my favorite band of all time is Faith No More. So here is my favorite song by my favorite band.

Faith No More - Everything's Ruined If you liked it definitely check out the rest of the album.

I listen to everything from Blues to Bluegrass to Doom Metal. I love variety in my music. I LOVE Josh Homme, he's one of my favorite vocalists of all time. Kyuss, Them Crooked Vultures, QotSA. The man is a musical genius.

I can listen to anything it really depends on my mood. (some)Rap, Metal, Rock, Classic, Electronic, and so on. Lately been bouncing around with post-metal like Isis and other similar bands. But right now this very moment I'm listening to Hearts Alive by Mastodon(it starts slow but picks up at the 2:00 mark.) I'm actually a pretty big Mastodon fan. Is it September yet? I want the new album damn it.

Octane on Sirius Radio usually plays some really good music. As long as it isn't country I will listen to it though.

Here is White Rabbit by Egypt Central. Hadn't heard of them until this song came on Octane.

How many people here remember Axel F ?

Tantric is also a pretty good band. I found them on Octane as well. Here is Coming Undone and Monopoly . For some reason that is the only video of Monopoly that I could find online and it's a "clean" version it seems. well that sucks.
