I cant help not being able to ignore all the talk that goes around. People saying that they want the same kind of mystery in MK6 that MK1 and MK2 had. Also people saying that they were disappointed with MKDA, because if failed to hold this kind of "Mysterious Feeling." Well if you think about it guys the reason why we dont have this Mystery anymore is, because when MK1-MK3 came out not a lot of people were on the internet. We were not really able to find out information before the game came out, so a person knew nothing about the game until the day it was released. And I can still remember how excited I was the first time I played MKII which I am sure we can all relate to. Not that I am bashing online forums or MK websites. I think it is a great idea to get people together to discuss MK ideas, and facts about the upcoming and previously released MK games. I guess the point that I am trying to stress is maybe we should let our expectations down a tad. Considering the fact that we know about half of what a MK game withholds months before it is released. Once again I am not saying that MK on the internet is bad. Infact I support it 100%, im just throwing an idea out there that has been on my mind for a while. Thoughts and Ideas...?

I haven't heard that people were dissapointed do to lack of mystery of MK: DA(not to say there weren't any), besides who is Dragon King and what role will he play in future MK. I've heard of some people being disapointed in the gameplay. To me MK: Deception has tons of mystery like MK: DA. Of course degrees of anticipation. Myselfthe storyline has always been the biggest mystery of the mortal kombat games before they are released ( MK1-MK: DA ). Back in the old arcade days all you had to do is wait around for a monthbefore move booksfor MK came out. As far as Deception goes, I wouldn't say we know halfof the game already. We only know a few select things. For example we only know like 2-3 characters reasonsfor being in this MK: Deception torney. Also we all know by now that Dragon King is the new badass of MK, but we have no idea whathe wants, or what his plans are. Heck Konquest fleshs ou the MK storyline by a ton, yet we don't know plot and storyline was what is going to happen.Character confirmation is still not 100% factual, everything about the characters so far besides the characters shown off from E3, are still in mystery. Therefore MK: Deception is still a big mystery. My expectations are high. MK: DA went far beyond my expecations, from what I've seen MK: Deception has some work to do from the E3 build I've seen, of course since MK: D at E3 was an early build. I can't wait have the final build myself, everything I've seen looks exciting to play.

I do agree with your point Scorpion, we do not dislike the Online sites, however we are merely stating a point that some people do not have the same feeling towards the MK franchise.
But I think that we agree on one thing, if you like to maintain the mystery, just don't spend time on these sites.
However the increase in fan sites has resulted in us being a lot more learned about the happenings of the series.

Seriously!I didn't want too post it in deception forum or they might of flamed me and it doesn't really relate too decetion exactly,it's about how information are being spread on the internet causing everything in the game too be known even before it's release.

Let's call a spade a spade, MK:DA was a great great game, but it wasn't a great MK game as far as 'secrets' are concerned.

Tho, I think the internet can take some of that heat, cause before the game came out we knew all the secrets (kinda like we do with MK:D).

Hopefully they will really throw in some deep hidden stuff and we can get back to the roots of MK, the mystery.
