I figure with the influx of other fighting games in the coming months, it might be good to have a thread dedicated to fightsticks.

So who uses one, what set-up do you use etc?

While i mostly use a fightpad, i do have a fightstick that I use occasionally and that I have been tuning with various set-ups, trying to find one that I'm really happy with.

My current set-up is a Mad Catz TE-S stick with the following mods:
-bat top stick
-octagonal restrictor plate
-2 lb spring (the stock spring on the Mad Catz fightstick is .9 lbs)
-Over-sized actuator to cut down on the stick's throw distance

Personally I've been more accustom to the Happ stick that has been a tradition for the MK set-up, but the Mad Catz fightstick won't support it, plus the fightstick that came with MK seemed to have quite a stiff spring, that it hurt my wrists for extended play. I've also switched over to octagonal plate hope for a better feeling with inputs.

I do have a question though, I've seen some talk about Crown sticks and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them and can explain the difference between them and the JLF and happ sticks?

I got an Eightarc Fusion (the black an white one) TE stick. I got it for 200 bones and I really love it. At first I was scared I made a bad investment. As time went on, it really elevated my game.

Btw, I hate typing from mobile(:
