The police are out of control!

I don't know how the police are in other states but I live in the state of NJ. and I believe the NJ police are out of control. This morning when I was in bed my mother woke me up and she asked me to give her the keys to my car so she can move my vehicle out of the snow. She told me a cop was outside and she wanted to move it before I get ticketed. I was like "what"? It appears there's a new law that you're suppose to have your car out of the street when it snows. I had no idea it was going to snow last night and now I'm going to protest the ticket. NJ laws and the police are out of control and I wish someone would do something about it. The cops around here sit and wait for someone to mess up and when someone does they won't hesitate to charge that individual for something just so they can make money. In my mind the police are like vultures and are bullies.
I thought this would be a post about police abusing their power to plant evidence, brutalize civilians, get through traffic, or something else.
What part of New Jersey are you from? I actually thought that when it snowed you were allowed to leave your car in position when it was time for the street sweepers to come by.

There was this one time when the people of Budapest protested against the incompetence of the Socialist party's leadership.
Promptly riot police, rubber bullets in head height, several blinded, and no ID TAGS on the police squads sent to the scene. Yeah, around a few 10.000 people.
And not one riot police officer had a name tag. The sad thing is, there were no such cases of police brutality ever since the revolutions in 1989, hell, Hungary had no recorded history of such scale police abuse. And not one certainly from the leadership.
I envy your police.

This is new? We've had this rule in Michigan since I can remember..the snow cannot be adequately removed with vehicles in the road.
This is not the police being out of control or abusing their power, it mgiht be more work to do for citizens, but it's not even a big deal.
People want cleaner roads to drive down, meaning less accidents, easier navigation, etc.
You're not sacrificing any relevant liberty by moving your car off the road for them to plow the streets, not to mention, streets are public property, not private.
