anyone who is a fan of martial arts or action films in general will want to check out the trailer for the upcoming Indonesian action film The Raid, coming out in Indonesia in January 2012. this is the 2nd collaboration between director Gareth Evans and star Iko Uwais, after Merantau in 2009. After winning the People's choice award at the TIFF midnight madness program this year, Hollywood is already trying to make plans to remake this. Sony has the US rights, I just wish they would release THIS film in US theaters instead of trying to do some stupid remake.
