The Walking Dead video game
Not sure if there's many Walking Dead fans here but Telltale (of Sam and Max fame) has released an episodic adventure game based on the Walking Dead comic universe. It's scheduled to roll out over the subsequent months with Episode 1 already released for $4.99 or you can buy the 5 episode bundle at $20.
Gameplay is an interesting variation of the adventure game model and functions largely as a puzzle solver, quick time event, exploration type of experience. Additionally, you make story conversation decisions (similar to something like Mass effect) that impact the outcome of the plot. Some are subtle differences while others are expected to greatly impact the story plot.
If any of you do check it out, I'm curious as to your story decisions and your rationalizations for them. I'll post mine below with spoiler tags.

Day or night travel
Daytime travel
Daytime travel seemed like a no-brainer. The only thing worse than running across a horde of flesh-eating zombies is running across hordes of flesh-eating zombies that you can't see.
Hershel
Honesty.
Lee struck me as a guilt-ridden but honest type of guy so I was honest with Hershel. I was honest about Lee's past as much as possible with everyone actually. I'd rather not have Lee's past railroaded by the plot and allow people to leverage it over him. Poor guy suffered enough. Hell, everyone's suffered enough to survive through a Zombocalypse.
Shawn or Duck
Duck (though tried for both).
I liked Kenny and wanted to protect his family. Paternal instincts kicked in as well to save the kid...no matter how much he quacks.
Kenney or Larry Argument
Larry (unintentionally)
I actually tried to play peacemaker on this one and didn't side with anyone until my hand was forced. Strangely enough, Lee getting in Larry's face and giving a "I'll beat that ass!" speech that would've made King Leonidas proud equaled me siding with Larry. Thanks Telltale!
Larry: This is madness! The kid's been bitten!
Lee: Madness? *dramatic pause as Lee looks to Clementine*
*Clementine gives a thumbs-up*
Lee: This...is...DRUGSTORE!!! *legkick's Larry through the boarded window out into the street*
*Zombies nom nom a bewildered Larry*
Irene
Did not give gun.
I chose not to give Irene the gun because she was obviously deteriorating emotionally and physically and I didn't want to jeopardize the safety of Carley and Glen (which ironically, is exactly what happened). Plus, if my time in Cub Scouts taught me anything it's "never give a gun to a psycho zombie lady".
Doug or Carley?
Carley (though again tried for both).
This one was pretty easy. Carley all the way. With better character development and a headshot count to rival a Call of Duty leaderboard, Doug was doomed to become an all you can eat zombie feast. I hope they choke on his sandals. Nice try Telltale in attempting to squeeze in a little empathy for Doug as he wrestled the door shut with Lee. Too bad my response was "Shut up, Doug!"
If that scene was a Jordan vs Bird commercial circa late-90's Lee would've grabbed the purse, thrown it at the zombies clutching Doug (freeing him), then ricocheting off a zombie head to Carley with enough time for her to get to the ammo clip. High-fives and gatorade showers would've followed. Possibly a Big Mac.

Day or night travel
Daytime travel
Daytime- Since i love zombies i know the do's and don'ts of zombie apocalypses lol never travel at night unless absolutely necessary
Hershel
Honesty.
Since i knew Hershel's character from the comic and tv show (which is crap) i knew his hesitation to trust others besides his family. So i figured "be honest i might be able to stay a little while" but THAT didn't happen lol
Shawn or Duck
I chose Shawn, besides the fact that the kid annoyed me i figured hell be more useful in a zombie apocalypse. But i honestly thought Kenny was going to help me after he saved Duck
Kenney or Larry Argument
I went with Kenny. Larry pissed me off from the very start and Kenny was beginning to be Lee's friend so why would i chose some asshole old fart? When he had a heart attack i was grinning like an idiot lol
Irene
i refused to give her the gun, she seemed like the religious type i figured "hey killing yourself is a sin and you shouldn't want that" but since she did it already ohhhh wellll
Doug or Carley?
i honestly liked Doug but i didn't see any contribution to the group from him. Carley can use a gun AND is a potential "get it on" character lol
i honestly thought Carley was gonna get her gun and save Doug. I can't believe she couldn't kick off ONE lousy zombie!!
