The tiger, they are faster and have sharper claws, I am a pretty big animal person so I study this shit for no reason. And no they aren't more aggressive, lions are more aggressive and more territorial than tigers but they are far slower and don't have as keen senses as tigers.

I actually volunteer at one of the biggest animal shelters in Kendalia Texas over the summer, there was a tiger from the circus (damn their claws are sharp) but all I got to do was watch, I only got to take care of the pussy animals like the osterages, bastards pecked me...

have any of you watched that new show on discovery channel call Animal Faceoff?they had an episode where the tiger fought the lion.i wanted the tiger to win since its my favorite of the two but the lion won.i still think a tiger would win no matter what science has to say on the subject.

Dont know about this one. The tiger has bigger claws, but the lion has bigger jaws and teeth, i actually studied that for myself back in the days.

Believe this or not, i red that a Hyena could easily beat a Lion in a fight, so if thats the case, it makes me wonder on how a tiger would do.

I know the male lions are the hunters, but aren't the female lions more fierce?? If I recall correctly, the female lion basically makes the male lion it's bitch. Hunts, gathers, but the female is the one that stands up for the pride? I could be wrong

It depends...a tiger is a lone hunter and stalker. If he got the jump on the lion he would win. But out in the open, it would depend on the actual battle experience of the cats. In that case, an adult lion would most likely win since male lions have to fight other lions for control of the pride. Male tigers rarely fight among themselves since they are loners and rarely come across each other.

Dude that show is sooooooooo fuckin awesome. But all the animals I want to win always lose. I think a crocodile would kill a great white. SO far I know they've had Shark vs Crocodile, Elephant vs Rhino, and Lion vs Tiger, I wonder what else they will have.

the lion would win and here are the reasons why:

1.) Eventhough the lion is a little bit smaller than the tiger, lions have evolved into perfect fighters. Whereas the Tiger is more of a stealthy sneak attack type of animal.

2.) Tigers like to go for a quick bit to the back of the neck, but the lions hair around its neck deflects this attack. Because the Tiger can't get sight of the next it can't do it's signature killing move.

3.) Lions, because they are smaller, are quicker and more agile than the Tiger. But believe or not, but the lion is stronger than the Tiger, eventhough it's smaller.


All of these are facts. I had to research for a paper in Writing and literatur 2, in college, and it was about the face off between tigers and lions. Peace out for now.

I'm pretty sure it's the opposite; the females hunt, while the males dominate the pride.

Anyway, I think the lion wouyld probably win, because it's adapted for fighting, as well as hunting.
