I've finished the first season last week and am starting on the second season. I've heard good things about the revival for Season 3. With work, I'll probably see if I can watch an episode a day because there are 22 episodes in Season 2.
I still like the ones directed by Lynch, there's something about his style.

Big fan of the original series. Spent a long time hoping there'd be a comeback 25 years later. Glad there is! Haven't seen it yet, but everything I'm hearing/seeing sounds great! They're really going straight for the jugular! Picking up on the plotlines I wanna see, visiting a few old friends, and adding some cool new stuff. Very pleasing!

MK guy likes early 90s series about demonic mythology encroaching on the material world watched over by Major Briggs and a hero splashed with Eastern philosophy? Whoda thunk it?

I've seen all four current episodes of the new series and I'm lost. I won't spoil anything, but it's weird. Every little thing is as weird or eccentric as possible. I have no idea what's going on.

Just in general? Past episodes (and the movie) will help you through some things, but others are just part of the journey. There's new stuff in there - which is nice. You tend to expect retreads to go completely off the rails, or offer up nothing new at all. It really sounds like Twin Peaks is delivering on both planes.

I watched the original series twice on Netflix and I watched the prequel movie. I'm still lost on the new series lol it's just so weird.

Never got into it as a kid, but I always remembered the themesong.
Hearing it again is nostalgic.
Also, I can't stop thinking about the Simpsons clip of Homer watching it.
Are any answers going to be given or just a continuation of the wild ride?

A bit of both. They've gone after the Series 2 cliffhanger pretty quickly, which is great. We know the general situation now, but it's an evolving process still full of mystery. Best of both worlds.

I've now seen all five current episodes. I still have no clue what's going on. Well I know one thing, but I won't spoil it.
