Please tell me somebody else has played this gem either the original on PS3 or the sequel (and soon to be third game) on the PSP? I love games that involve strategy whether it be FPS, TPS, or RTS. Valkyria Chronicles is unique because it's a JRPG, and a very good one at that. The rules are simple enough and the battles are a blast. I also like how you can learn rather intricate back stories on your platoon (though it's called "Squad 7" it more like a platoon). Not a lot of games put that much thought into the little things like that.

So yeah who else is in love with this series? smile

Loved the first game, story and gameplay... Can't believe they went handheld though... Thinking about getting a PSP for the 2nd and 3rd ones... I also like the series so I'll buy...

I love valkyria chronicles! One of the most best gaming experiences of my life! I have played both games so far, and I hope the 3rd will get a western release. The story and gameplay are both awesome. I really hope there will be many more games to come. This is really a wonderful franchise .my favorite characters are selvaria and jane. :)

Yeah it's pretty much the Beyond Good and Evil of this generation of consoles, a great game that not many people have played. Those that have played it are super devoted and are pretty much what's keeping the series alive.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of this series. I was wondering, though, has anyone gotten the DLC for the second game? If so, can anyone help me with the class-specific missions? In particular the Armored Tech class mission where you have to defeat all of the enemies. Thanks in advance! smile

Ed Boon? Maybe I have no idea...I don't have a twitter account so I couldn't ask as if he would even answer. I haven't actually played any of the DLC for either games so I couldn't help you on that either unfortunately.

So I know everybody has their favorite characters that they always go to but what are everybody's?

Well, off the top of my head the characters I use most are: Alicia, Rosie, Largo, Jane, Edy, Jann, Rosina, Audrey, Nancy, Aisha, Oscar, and of course Welkin since he operates your tank, along with Isara. smile BTW the DLC is awesome you get to play on the enemy side including Selvaria. You also get a cool weapon for completing Selvaria's missions. :D
