On the one hand, Battle Royale has Chiaki Kuriyama. On the other hand, Ichi the Killer has Ichi the Killer. I vote for Ichi.

I saw Versus and I think the movie kicked ass. The Slow mo with the guns was Top Notch. I loved thta one shot where they are being chased by the car and they are on the bike. And the camera is behind one of the bad guys whos leaning out the window and in slow mo the gun fires and the casing bounces on the pavment and then it speeds up again the the casing flies toward the camera. Pretty cool.

I haven't seen the others though.

I have all but Versus.

BR2 was pretty good, but it can't compare with the 1st one.

Ichi the killer was quite psychological, with some dark humor thrown in for good measure. Thew uncut version was quite wild...

What was left out of the uncut Ichi? I've only seen it uncut.

Lots of violence was edited. The tongue cut and tempura shrimp oil/needle torture scenes were edited heavily...

Ive seen battle royale and want to get the dvd , also want battle royale 2 , i have versus on dvd and the movie kicks ass but have never seen ichi the killer

Yeah I have the two disc version of ichi and the anime prequal on it is bad ass

Ichi the Killer seemed like a pretty twisted movie, so I must check it out soon. Know where I can get the dvd?

Basicly any online dvd store,and you can have it special ordered at your mall's movie store.

I haven't seen Versus (that I know of).

Ichi the Killer is a cool movie, it wasn't as gory as I thought it would be, initially.
But I still liked watching it.

Also, Battle Royale and Battle Royale 2 are great movies, I really enjoyed watching those.
I don't know which I like better though, both are equally as good.

Also, for the anime fans amung us, I'd recommend the movie Azumi.
It's a movie with an anime look to it, I liked it a lot.
