there is a lot of weird and aggravating stuff happening to my computer.i knew i had a virus in my computer for a week now after dell informed me.first my scanner stopped now i'm getting alll these weird pop ups that constantly freezes my computer.it seems like everything was going fine until i got this damn norton antivirus installed which, from my perspective, made things worse.i keep being informed that i have over 18 viruses that can't be deleted or repaired and its messing up everything even the internet.as i am typing this my computer is messing up.can anyone offer me any suggestions cause this is starting to pi$$ me off
First, get rid of spyware. I use a combo of Adaware and Spybot : Search and Destroy. That might solve some foy our problems. Then, get a program called HijackThis. There are forums online (use google to find them) where you can post the info it gives you so they can tell you how to fix your PC. That should get rid of the majority of annoying virii.

I agree with Hyuga try spybot or Adaware, tho i have a feeling that the infection may be more than just popups and a complete format and re-install may be the only way to get rid of them, but that depends on the type of viruses you have, once your Pc is clean get yourself a firewall, Zone Alarm is a exellent one that i use and it's free, that should help in preventing scripts and other trojans etc being stored on to your PC.
