Alright, I've been wondering about this for awhile... I've been visiting this site for some time now (since a few months before MK9's release) but my "Visits" never rise above 3.

I've seen a few others ask the question, but haven't seen an answer. I first thought it was the # of times you logged in. Someone else suggested it could possibly be the # of times people have visited your profile.

Anyone know for sure what the "Visits" represent? Thanks!

It's been known to get stuck. It's not a big deal though, visits don't mean much around here.

Visits themselves represent the number of times you view the site, of course. You should get one visit every 5 minutes or so. That's what I've heard. But like I said, it doesn't matter anyway.

What browser are you using? I was stuck at 11 visits when I was using Google Chrome but my visits started going up when I used Explorer.

According toTonyTheTiger there is a 10 min timer.

I have gotten less than fifty visits this year though I've been rather actively joining conversations in here all that time. It doesn't bother me though. Besides, wouldn't it be cooler if you had about ten visits and already being ranked warrior?

I see... Yeah, it probably has something to do with my using Google Chrome. That sucks... I prefer it to all the other browsers.

I suppose I could use Firefox if I really cared. However, I will never use IE...

Thanks for the responses!

An afterthought; what determines your "Rank"?

Dragon points. I think you become a warrior or something along those lines when you get 75 dragon points.

Ya Chrome is best IMO.

Your rank goes up with Dragon Points, which are awarded by mods for doing various things for the community. Here's the rank list.

It's notorious for its ability to get stuck, as many have already said --

Don't worry about it, I've been here since '06.

and, if you didn't know, you get Dragon Points (DP's for those perverted people) for posting thoughtful/helpful things on the site, like Maximus.

You can also get DPs in the Fan Sub forum, so if your good at writing stories or drawing pictures, Submit them, you get 2 DPs per submission I think.

Posts with five dragon points are almost without exception, original posts. Create well-thought topics with a passion and you might just reach that level. Fly far, my son. (don't crash)

I think everyone in here's offered some pretty good advice about ranking and visits, and I don't think much more can be discussed, so I'll just close it. Good job on helping out, everyone!
