I was thinking of changing my P2P program from Kazaa, because it seems to be eating up too much memory while it's running. My sister had installed Ares, but the few times I've tried it, I couldn't find what i'm looking for. Can anyone give me any suggestions about what are some of the best P2P programs out right now?
[edit]: Also is there any way to import pending downloads from one P2P to another. I mean I got porbably over 200 downloads pending on Kazaa that just won't seem to go. Is there any way I could import them into anther P2P program like Limewire, or IMesh?

I don't what exactly "the best" is, but I guess it really depends what you're looking for.

For music I go straight to soulseek myself. For anything else I might need that I want to get from a P2P program (which isn't much, and isn't often), and as an alternative to soulseek should I need it, I use WinMX.

In all honesty though, pretty much anything you use is going to be better than Kazaa. Get shot of that rubbish.

I use the ever reliable Livewire
either limewire or winmx...winmx is good because u dont have to install it straight to your hard drive. u can simply put all of the files needed on a cd and stream it off of the cd...
