Exactly. But, a suggestion would be a Warlock. They're freakin' sick!

Well, it depends on what kind of music you want to play, how much you're willing to spend, etc. Is it your first guitar? Have you ever played before? If you haven't, I'd suggest something cheaper than a Les Paul.

Well, when buying a guitar, if you get something less that 500,000 bucks you'll probably regret it.
Well, If you want a badass guitar with good sound get an NJ Beast by B.C Rich. The band Deicide designed soo I think it's one of the best. The only thing is that it'll run ya up about 600$.
For a beginner that doesn't have parent's willing to spend much money I'd look into Ibanez, good quality at a cheap price. ;-D

SirManny, no offense but Warlocks suck compared to any other serious rock guitar. The only good thing about them is their looks which you suffer from in a comfort sort of way.
Anyways dude... It definately depends on what you're going to play... I'm just taking a longshot here but I'm guessing rock and probably heavy at that. And if I'm right I would have to suggest anything by Epiphone (because you probably don't wanna go for an uber-expensive Gibson yet) an ESP, or an Ibanez. Ibanez has great beginner guitar packs that focus on hard rock genres so if that's what your going for get an Ibanez starter pack!

Fuck guitar, by yourself a 6 string Spector bass
Well, if you don't, I will. I need a Spector, not that there's anything wrong with that 5 string of mine (except the fact it doesn't have 6 strings).
Anyways... Depends on what you're doing. If you're just planning on finding out whether you want to play or not, get a cheap Fender rip off from a 2nd hand shop to start out with.
If you're already a serious guitarist though, I'd reccomend a Horus. You'd have to get it imported from Japan, but if you write heavier music the Horus is brilliant. The singer for my band is buying one, they sound great for metal. The brand is Caparisson (not sure about the spelling), if you're interested.
