Who else is ready for Metal Gear Solid:Snake Eater

It looks awsome although my comp has aol so i cant watch any of the clips they release or any clip for that matter without waiting for an hour. Anyway me i wish they made a direct sequel to Sons of Liberty but to take place during The Cold War is awsome. Plus I wanna see the new Metal Gear! Oh plus you can decapitate the bad guys good stuff plus thanks to PSM magazine they released a *spoiler pic* i wont say what it is unless you guys want me to anyway your thoughts?

I made a thread like this yet theposts stopped lol. But the new Metal Gear isn't really nothing big it would be for the 60's. I think the best MG yet would be REX. But this game does look like really cool if you want more info start watching for Xplays 260 episode they'll show it again sometime its called episode 260: MGS Retrospective and it shows 4 trailers on MGS3SE the whole show it's a must watchwink

How can he die if its set before Metal Gear 1 hmm??? But I can say this by the end of the game he's missing an eye and has a beard hmm sound familiar missing an eye hmm??

snake was born in the 70's this guy has to be BIG BOSS. I think it'll show how he gets the eye patch in this game too.

I can't wait for snake eater, it's going to change the the world grin.

I saw in a PSM or something that the storyboards indicate "Snake" getting owned, at least it looked that way. But wtf, it's kojima, he likes to brain rape peeps.

Big Boss had the codename "snake", big boss was his title as the best soldier of his time.

When Solid Snake was born they gave him and his brothers that codename as they are the sons of Big Boss.


MSS3 is a prequel to all the previous Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid games.

Well said. Until u play this game, it's gonna be reallllllllllllllllllllly hard to speculate, cause for all we know 'Snake' could end up being Revolver Ocelot (well not him but u get my point) before this is all over.

In any event, the new camo stuff is pure gold, and I think this has a chance of being an A++ game just based on what I've seen.

Can't wait to get my hands on this one...

Anyone have the exact release date??

I know Revolver Ocelot is in it, as a young man, there's a woman who resembles Sniper Wolf, some German style general with scars all over his face, another woman in strange silver combat gear, and someone who looks like he's some kind of lord he's got a eye piece and everything tongue

Don't know which one is the main boss, doesn't say.

In the trailer the long one from E3, we see a really kickass showdown Between Snake and "anonymous". It seems to be the boss and we see how Snake loses his eyes.
If you haven't seeing this trailer, (I couldn't resist, I had to) There a lot of great scenes involving the younger Ocelot.

Well if it's only out in November in the US then it won't be out in Europe till March/April.

But Kojima always does extras for Europe that the US and Japan don't get so hopefully this game is no exception grin

Really? A little conselation prize for waiting i would think. Anyway I might wait for it to hit greatest hits or for christmas cause after Mortal Kombat Decepton im gonna be broke haha but worth it same goes as Devil May Cry 3 im gonna wait for Greatest Hits or just rent it same as MAT2.
