I can give you 2 answers:

1)Because they have a RIGHT (just like everybody else does) to not like a game for their own reasons which I happen to agree with COMPLETELY. Which brings me to my second answer:

B)'Cause they've been completely correct in telling their readers in how the series has been slowly going downhill, quality-wise, since MK3 came out.

Because they think MK is supposed to be a Virtua Fighter 4, or Street Fighter Alpha 3. Seriously, EGM doesn't think about where these games count; replayability and enjoyability. I prefer DA over any Street Fighter game because of the unlockables and overall "pick up and play" feel.

Sorry MK doesn't have 67 hit combo's or "Super" moves that would make your retina's bleed.

My personal opinion is that EGM is biased out of spite. During the days of MK1, MK2, and possibly MK3; Egm had direct access and all the clout as the #1 video game mag. Now IGN and Gamespot get all of the current updates from Boon, meanwhile EGM plays second fiddle. When you're treated well, you give good reviews.....right.......so visa versa in reverse. Only my opinion

no man it wasn't I swear because after I edited the message the hacker guy whoever went back on my name and changed the topic title to "Hacked" I didn't. And that was after I changed my password so I know whoever did it didn't guess it.

I really can't answer as I don't read GI, but that one guy's theory makes sense kinda. They aren't gettin' good lovin' from Boon and company so they hate MK now, lol. I don't know..

No it isn't. If it was, then it's safe to say that everything that is allowed to be discussed here is a "sensitive" subject. The problem is that the majority of people here simply cannot accept the fact that PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT OPINIONS. If a mag/person/website bashes a game/movie/TV show that someone else likes, then all hell breaks lose because they cannot accept what I said about different opinions.

EGM stopped liking MK for reasons that others (myself included) agree with. Does that mean that I (along with EGM) am right and the rest of you are incorrect? No, and it doesn't mean that the reverse scenario is the correct one either.

So for future reference, the following statement can be/should be used in any thread where people are giving different opinions and someone comes along and says a bullshit statement like "U suk! How kan u sey dat about mai faborit....":

IT IS POSSIBLE FOR PEOPLE TO LIKE THINGS THAT OTHERS DON'T LIKE. LIKING SOMETHING THAT SOMEONE ELSE DOES NOT LIKE DOES NOT MAKE YOU BETTER/CORRECT, NOR DOES IT MAKE THE OTHER PERSON BETTER/CORRECT.

That comment was directed to anybody who's too bullheaded to accept the fact that people can have different opinions. As for MK:D, I really don't care about it, and all I can say about it "I hope it's better than MK:DA", which I consider the second worst game in the series and a HUGE disappointment.

The problem with that "opinion" is that it isn't an opinion. Whoever wrote that is stating a "fact" (according to him/her, at least), and that statement, since it's being presented as a "fact", couldn't be more wrong.
