why would we talk about non mk stuff in an mk web site when theres plentry other spots

Ok, 1st of all, when a thread is closed, it's not a good idea to repost the thread.

As an MK community, many of us have become friends and/or like to have discussions outside of the topic of MK. Therefore, instead of trying to find a specific site for all of us to flock to, we just meet up here (and in IRC). There is more to life than MK...

Firstly, you must add message bodies when you post threads; I notice that you neglect to do this each time.

Secondly, it has been explained. As Shingo stated, there's more to life than just one subject. Thus most successful websites allow users a place to post topics that are not related to subject the website is based upon. Please, I undestand you are a new member, but understand the rules and regulations of this site. I do not want to be forced to ban you.
