Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you saying that you like to listen to the songs found on the Windows Media Player service? Like the Radio stations? If that's the case, I suggest you download RealPlayer and listen to songs there.

Winamp is a great player. They have a radio built into it as well. There is also 'tv' channels on it but nothing good is ever on.

I fucking agree with Agilo 100%, I just had a problem recently where my music started to play in Windows Media Player for NO fucking reason it pissed me off I finally got it back into Winamp, Jesus Windows Media Player sucks...and whoever uses it for music...well Im sorry to say but they SUCK.

There is not one player that does music and video with a simplier interface. Audio quality is great. The only thing it lacks is a good music store. Most things on Linux (w/ exception of a few) are garbage man.

How the hell did Linux come into this discussion?
And for your information, a lot of tools you may (note: may) use are originated from Linux.
I never realised this before I switched to Linux.
And, not only that, but there are tons of thousands of programs for Linux that are a hundred times better than programs for Windows.
Take media programs for instance.
I know at least two programs that beat the fucking shit out of Windows Media Player, called; MPlayer and Xine.
Both those players can play nearly all the codecs available for audio/video (even Realplayer, Quicktime and codecs such as XviD, DivX, AC3 etc) and are light-weight.
Even DArqueBishop could vouch for at least Xine (were he to read this).
So please, don't say shit you have no comprehension about, please.
^ Yah, windows media is becoming pretty bad. I like to search for music, like i'll type in a song I want to hear and i'll get results and click on the one and play it and if the quailty is good, I'll copy it. but now most of the songs I like are gone, some songs won't connect, even when I am on amazon.com and I want to hear a clip sample off a cd track, windows media won't play it, so now I have realone player, its much better.

My Windows Media Player...ahh...well, when I open it, sometimes it opens, but other times it gives me the 'Welcome to Windows Media Player' screen, and i have to 'reinstall' but after that's done, it still won't open.
I got Winamp after talking with sub-zeromasta about the problem, and he told me about winamp. It's pretty cool, the radio stations are cool tho I don't use them often.
ps - linux sux
