Woo Hoo!! Finally Closing On Our House This Friday!!

My wife and I are so excited about finally closing on our first house together. I just had to share my excitement with my MKO friends. We've been living in a 2 bedroom apartment for the last 3 years, and we're moving into a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house this Friday. Woo Hoo!! Finally, a house to call our own.

Congrats!
My family moved about 9 months ago from our old house to a larger house about halfway across town. The new house belonged to my great aunt, but she died in May 2003; my family had always liked the house, so we bought it from the estate (honestly it kinda makes me feel like we're a bunch of vultures). It was hell getting our old house ready for the market (we had to move all out stuff- and we had a LOT of stuff, paint the inside, put on a new roof and siding, add some landscaping), but we found a buyer the day after our first open house We sold it for a lot more than we originally thought it was worth, too (sold for $465k, when we thought it'd be closer to maybe $350k...if that sounds expensive to any of you, just FYI, I live in Paramus, NJ, which has very high real estate prices). The closing is either this week or next...might actually be this Friday, same as yours, Malebolgia.
