hey guys i was wondering if any of u xbox owners have experienced or know the solution to my xbox dillema. my xbox has not been able to read any of my discs and with every time i enter a disc it reads "xbox cannot recognize this disc, etc...." (i cant recall the whole message but im sure many of u know it by now). anyways is this a lense problem? should I get it cleaned or do i need a new xbox? suggestions, comments?

Uh oh... Is xbox just as much of a piece of shit as ps2???

i have received this message from time to time, but i just keep ejecting the cd and putting it back in. eventually it works.

if i were you, id take it back to the shop you got it from and get a new one

It could be your lens, I had the same prob with my ps2 and I had to open it up and clean it manually. You can get a disc cleaner at eb games though.

Hey i don't want your thread closed either... A LOT of people have had major problems with their Ps2 and this is exactly the same case on your xbox.

It would be a shame if Microsoft put the same cheap effort into their systems as Sony did. Thats all.
