In the late 90s, our school library got a computer network, and let us surf the net during lunch.

I was always looking for video game codes, and news. On Gamefaqs, I remember reading faqs for games before they came out here. The Japanese Pokemon Silver was so exciting at the time. And reading up on early MUGEN stuff.

Eventually, I came across a site dedicated to news about the, then upcoming, Deadly Alliance. Preliminary shots of Scorp VS MK3 Jax, and forum discusions on the older games were a good read for years, until I actually joined the site in 2004. MKO was the first forum I joined, and I`m still here.

I joined Gamefaqs for a while, posting on several game boards, mostly DBZ games, arguing canon, until I was banned for trolling random stuff(not bullying trolling) when we were bored between spurts of game info.

Way back in Junior High, in the library at noon, when looking for game sites, kids would trick you into going to a porn site, ``snes.com`` wasn`t about Super Nintendo at all....

Don't remember if I browsed alt.games.mk first or the Videogames BBS on my parents Prodigy.net ISP, but it was around 1996 and I was about 8 years old. I couldn't tell ya my first website, but one of them had to be either GameFAQs or SegaSages which has been bought out so many times over; I think in some form it's IGN these days, but back then it was strictly a site for cheat codes.
