Well, most of the holiday blockbusters have hit store shelves, and 2015 looms ahead. What games are you waiting for?
Mortal Kombat X- I'll go ahead and get the obvious out of the way first. This game is legitimately my most anticipated for next year. Everything great about MK9 looks to be ramped up, and with some new tricks and lessons learned from Injustice, I can't wait to see what NRS has up their sleeve for this one.
Batman: Arkham Knight- Rocksteady looks to be going out with a bang in what they are saying will be their final Arkham game. With an open world bigger than Arkham City, refined combat, and the heavily touted inclusion of The Batmobile, they do indeed look to be on the right track. Saddened by the fact that Paul Dini will not be returning, but I'm curious to see how Rocksteady has decided to bring their trilogy to a close.
Dying Light- Despite the fact that first person games have never really been my thing, I can usually look passed it when a game looks particularly interesting. Dying Light fits that bill. Described as Dead Island meets Mirrors Edge, this one could be a lot of fun.
The Order: 1886- Man, despite the fact that the gaming press keeps coming back with tales of woe about this game, I remain optimistic. From developer, Ready at Dawn(God of War:Chains of Olympus/Ghost of Sparta), these guys are capable of greatness. The game looks amazing and hopefully, after a four month delay, they'll be able to tie it all together and make something great.
Uncharted 4: A Theif's End- The name speaks for itself. The PlayStation 3's biggest franchise is making the jump to PS4. Despite a shake up at Naughty Dog around the beginning of the year, there's no reason to believe this game won't be just as impressive as it's predecessors.
Mad Max- From the studio responsible for the rediculously fun Just Cause 2, I'm very optimistic for this game. Hopefully, with the new movie slated for this year, some more info and gameplay should surface.
Just Cause 3- If you played 2 and loved it, you are probably aware of why you should be excited for this one.
Until Dawn- ...an interactive horror movie?! The premise alone has my interest peaked. This game has been rebuilt from the ground up after its original showing a while back, and looks all the better for it.
Quantum Break- On one hand, the newest game from Remedy sounds awesome. An action game where the main character can bend time at will just sounds amazing...and then, you hear that they intend to shoe horn in live action episodes (which sound as if they'll be around a half hour a piece a piece) to tell the story and it just sounds like the immersion will be completely broken. I genuinely hope I'm wrong.
Rise of the Tomb Raider- One of the big pieces of news coming out of E3 this year was that, not only is the new Tomb Raider coming, but it also will be a (timed) exclusive for Xbox one. It boggles the mind, especially after Square Enix tried its hardest to label the game a sales failure, despite doing damned well. Despite SE's idiocy, you should absolutely be excited for this one(especially if you have an Xbox one).
2015 looks bright for sure. What are you looking forward to?

In order from most to least anticipated:
1. Mortal Kombat X -
As a die hard MK fan, it should be no surprise this tops the list. But this MK is special because it seems to be going in a completely new direction. The obsession with the " New" is interesting. New story, new gameplay, and new characters. I am so eager for this game. (Mostly because it'll be the first fighting game on PS4 that isn't a port.)
2. Tekken 7 -
Another series I'm a huge fan of. From what I've seen so far the game looks amazing. The new mechanics are turning some people off, but I for one can't wait to try them. Plus that's another fighting game for my PS4. As a fighting game fanatic, this pleases me.
3. The Order: 1886 -
This game had me hooked since I saw it back at E3 2013. The setting, weapons, and lore are very intriguing. It doesn't look like another standard third person shooter to me. The Order: 1886 is looking to tell an amazing story as well.
4. Bloodborne -
I never played any of the Souls games, they never interested me. But something about Bloodborne peaked my interests. The combat looks very slick, the atmosphere is very engrossing, and it does indeed look challenging.
5. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End -
I've been following the adventures of Nate since Darke's Fortune. Always been a big fan of the characters, story, and insane cation that have made the series so great. This one looks to be the definitive end for the series so I must see how this plays out.
