My Nightmares are so whack I can't really explain it...

Scariest I remember was falling. Always, the falling and my heart races like crazy!

I remember I had a nightmare that I was being devoured alive by thousands of spiders. I woke up in a sea of sweat.

I'll tell my most recent. Happened a week or so ago.

I was playing Mortal Kombat 2011, and I picked Scorpion, my opponent was Sub-Zero, we were in Goro's Lair. Everything seemed normal. Until I payed close attention to the way I was playing...

I played like a total Scorpion noob.

It's scary, at least a little. Because all that knowledge and time I spent learning how to play MK was meaningless. Knowing I could play better but cannot for reasons beyond my comprehension.

Okay, now for a real one. This one is the one of the earliest scary dreams I remember. Can't remember when I had this, maybe 5 or something.

Everything was going perfectly normal, walking around my living room. But when suddenly everything went dark, I couldn't see anything save for a blue railing and some sort of roller coaster car. It started up slowly but with each passing second went faster and faster. At a really high speed, I could see some orange-white shape ahead. I felt fear and the coaster went to an abrupt stop right in front of a hideous creature. It roared and I felt like screaming but didn't, for whatever reason. I woke up a second or two later. Can't remember what happened afterwards, memory is so foggy.

I can't exactly remember what the creature looked like, but I remember it having six arms and 3 claws on each limb. Don't remember much about the face, but it might've looked something like this. Warning: Don't look at that if you don't like seeing the faces of dead humans recombinated to become aliens created from the bodies of the dead. Expect a mutated upper and lower jaw.

When I was 6 I had a dream that I was being eaten alive by millions of crickets...... I think that's why I have a phobia of Crickets.... It's crazy... I can deal with a a raging Pitbull , but I can't even come within a foot to Cricket...... :(

I don't really get nightmares anymore. Some I remember as a kid seem so stupid but they scared the hell out of me as a kid. I had one where the Ghostbuster ghost bit my arm, another where Baraka (with a turkey body) chased me around in my backyard, and another where Donkey Kong's pet rhino tried killing me. Weird shit.

The only real scary dream I can think of is one where someone I know is killed or ones where my dog is in trouble

I can't really say. Only thing I remember is that when I woke up, I was paralyzed and did not want to move. I didn't want to go back to sleep since I have this thing when I wake up half way from the dream and when I go back to sleep I enter that dream again at the exact moment I left. Hate that shit. Had something to do with a scarecrow and possibly a bowl of noodles.

Mine actually happened last week.

I dreamt I had a cut on the back of my head and there was thousands of insects crawling and flying out of it.

The weirdest part was, I woke up and looked at the wall and seen one of the insects, jumped out of bed blinked a few times and it was gone.

I've had a ton of awesome (as in, super scary) nightmares in my career as a human.

The worst one ever was one where I woke up with my family inside a room. None of us had any idea where we were. We left the room and it turns out we were in the middle of the hills, and the room we were in was actually a building in the shape of a giant circus ball. My father took a shotgun that was in the room to protect my family while I was out exploring to figure out where we were.

I walked around the hills but there was nothing but trees and mountains in the distance. When I returned to my family, I saw my father crying and sobbing with the shotgun at his feet. He had shot my entire family.

Fucked up.

Some common themes in my nightmares are living dolls, zombies, elevators and (as of last night) unidentifiable shadow-like black creatures with hundreds of very sharp teeth.

Grandma blowjob

I had just woken from a weird dream when I saw my covers move down. I laughed and thought must be boogey man I turn to go back to sleep when I fall into my bed with only my covers holding me afloat. I hear a sadistic laugh as my covers slowly get cut. With each opening I see a hellish like place.

I hated this dream because it was so realistic and I thought it wasn't a dream as I had woken up from another one. Damn dreams within dreams.

Good lord I hope it wasn't your grandma.

Being on Prozac gave me the scariest nightmares ever. Once I dreamt I was driving in my car. I realized I'd hit something, so I looked in the rearview mirror to see what it was. Then I saw dead bodies all over the road. Apparently, a plane had crashed nearby and all the people were scattered everywhere. It was terrible.

The worst and more horrifying dreams I've ever had were about my brother dying. I also had a dream that my dog was going to be dead when I woke up.

Seriously, soul-crushing dread throughout those dreams. I remember, in one, I was literally gasping for breath from crying so hard.
It was awful.

Fortunately, I've only had that type of dream thrice, spanning 13-or-so years. Don't want anymore of them, however.

I once had a really fucked up dream where I was exploring my old college. Everything seemed normal, except that the classrooms seemed older, and the school much bigger. I ran into a couple of people I knew, and walked into the library. Everyone was tense because of some kind of rally going on with a new political leader in power. As I made my way out of the library, one of the students started removing a quarter of their head and skull, revealing that it was kept attached using toothpicks. A little freaked out, I found myself in the rally, watching a raving lunatic talking about how he was going to ban relaxation. The people yelled at him for his stupid theories, but since he was already voted in, it was too late. When he got off his chair and banned people from sitting down, a mob stormed the stage, sending him through a series of curtains and television monitors. Lots of sparks and explosions.
The dream was so intense, I awoke and leapt out of bed, making sure I wasn't caught in the mob and not caught sitting down.

I'm not sure if its scary or something.

I once dreamt I was alone in some desert place and a nuke bomb landed right on me.

Which would be funny and random I suppose except your brain can make up all kinds of crazy shit in a dream state. So on this dream I could "feel" every moment and I could see my own face being twisted in pain and agony.

Sometimes I'm grateful I forget most of my dreams the morning I wake up but the really weird ones stick out.

I hate dreams that involve me being stalked by carnivorous dinosaurs.

I had a pretty fucked up dream last night.

I dreamed I was walking on a bridge, and I happened to see my ex- girlfriend there. So I walk up to her and tell her how I want her back, how much I miss her, how I think about her everyday. Then she says how she wants her ex boyfriend (The one before me) back. She says she will never be happy without him. She goes on to say that the only reason she went with me was for relief. She never cared for me, only used me as a distraction.

I'm broken when she said that...

Just as I'm about to ask if anything we did meant a thing to her she stops me. She turns into a 500 foot tall monster and starts chasing me. At this point I don't even care she's about to kill me. I'm more bothered by the fact she never liked me. I stopped running. As she was about to crush me I woke up.

It wasn't my scariest dream... But by far the most fucked up one I've ever had.

Seeing my mother crushed by a tree and then going to the hospital (on a field trip in elementary) and seeing her body cut up into pieces.. This was actually a recurring dream i had as a kid

I had been staying at my aunts house because I was hanging out with my cousin that day. I went to sleep and I dreamt that I was at home and getting to go to said cousins house. My mom is drivin me there but she's mad at me and we get in the car we started arguing. She was going to go partying and i had said something to piss her off. We gOt to my cousins house and she cussed me out and kicked me out the car. I was crying then I went in and got a vision hat her car crashed I turned around as she turned the corner it happened. Ot had been midnight in my dream. I woke at my cousins house( having been there all day the previous day) and I starte crying because dream seemed so real. It took me 20 min to realize it was dream and my mom was ok.

ive had many horrific dreams with my parents dying, demons, zombies, my brother being burned alive and his burnt brown corps but ill tell you one. im me if you WANT to hear the rest

i was in a bar. a higher class bar 7 stories high. i was looking for a man named ashford, alfred ashford. when i finely got over to him he recognised who i was. he took out a knife and tried to stab me i took my knife and stabed him in the shoulder. everyone left except for me the bar tender and alfred. all of a suden he turned into a beast, it looked like an ork from lord of the rings but huge and green. i took out my gun and shot at it. it ran around the bar charging at me. as i fired my last bullet it droped dead. but it wasnt. it had transformed. it got up and i had no bullets it was a melee fight to the death. he charged at me i dodged him he came at me from the left and right i jumped on his back and stabed him he fell down with a mighty roar. as i was talking to the bar tender i looked back. THE BEAST WAS GONE!!!
