Just an idea I had. I am quite a fan of information, keeping up to date and learning as much as I can. I was thinking, there are likely many subscriptions you guys have that I do not.
I would like to keep this apart from "cute cat videos" or something like that. And rather to knowledge or information rich channels. But seeing as this is a public forum, the likelihood of that is low. So post whatever you like.
I tune in daily to Suspicious0bservers and anything they have to say. very unbiased most of the time and an abundance of global information with inclusion of Earthquake reports, Volcanoes, Government issues of many sorts. Solar activity, astronomy, epidemics etc.
SmokinJoeTrainer is another pretty informed person, of his own ambition. He likes to speculate. But he was once in the Military and really pics apart much media reporting and gives us insight. Worth a subscription for sure.
When it comes to conspiracy speculation which does come up from time to time in this circle of media. I'll just say it this way. I would rather be aware of an insane sounding theory and it be batshit, dead wrong, then not know anything of it and it be right. Knowledge is good, in any form.
I have many subscriptions game-related etc but have decided to leave them out.
What are you subscribed to? Why? What information does it provide?

Feels like a nice idea of a thread. I actually have no YouTube subscriptions I'm aware of but instead I read concrete magazines as well as the Ars Technica site. This topic should include good Twitter subscriptions for the maximum effect. I have found the pros of Twitter but I'm yet to start using it properly. All important news you desire in one page, that feels effective. Include Twitter subscriptions as well, please.
All of my subscriptions don't really involve people getting world information, rather, are more of news I myself am interested in.
That being said, those of you who are into any sort of cinematic media should subscribe to futureshorts. A great place to see how today's filmakers are thinking.

CTFxC s a great blog channel. Charles and Alli are beyond awesome. Internet Killed Television.
The Fine Bros. have "Kids react", which is all kinds of hilarious
I'm also subbed to sxephil, who's a great guy and gives fun and interesting news stories IN YO FACES.
TeamFourStar have FANTASTIC Dragonball Z redubs
I've got tons more, and you can find them if you look on my YT channel.

I'm subscribed mainly to a few gaming channels, the best of which are TotalBiscuit and the Yogscast.
TB focuses a lot on indie titles, and is a loud mouthed cynical bastard. Quite entertaining and informative, with a lot of high quality content. Yogscast is just a couple of guys who make funny game videos. They used to be a lot better before their fanbase was destroyed by Minecraft, but they're still good.

For the most part, my subscriptions are of that "Let's Play" subculture (if you could call it that), but FLuffeeTalks is one of my few subs that break that tradition, if not the only sub... actually yeah, that is the only non-LP/gamer channel I'm subbed to..

Strangely, I was just thinking about this the other day. I am mostly interested in video games and movies, so...
If you are into sarcastic, hilarious reviews of crap games, look no further than No Name Guy's reviews on cfauteux's channel.
As an avid fan of B-movies, 80s action movies, and horror films, you definitely should check out shitcasecinema's page. He's got tons of reviews.
TwinPerfectChannel is also great, as they have an amazing Silent Hill series review, and also review other games/movies, with great commentary.
TylerLantern/CrashLantern are both fun to watch great online matches, and crazy combos (from MK9).
I'll edit more in, as I see fit.
