Whether the list is entirely true or not, let's be sure to tell the team that we support them. If we do they will definitely take notice, maybe even give us more DLC. And if a second batch of DLC fails, there is still hope of getting a sequel to the game in the future. Injustice has a lot of potential of becoming one of the greatest fighting game franchises yet. I believe it is up to us to make it so. But In regards to that potential, please DO NOT KILL IT. Especially just because you are angry and opinionated about this first batch of DLC.

Just look at what happened to street fighter x tekken. The game had plenty of dlc, half the cast was new, and didn't have the super street fighter 4 arcade edition treatment, yet the sales were so low, the game was not on the market for 2 months before being reduced to 20 dollars. While the trolls over Capcom had it coming, Netherrealm's measly business malpractices do not come close to being as bad as Capcom or EA games at all. Boon and his guys don't deserve any of the uproars that those two companies have gotten in the past, let's not do anything that could jeopardize the future's company.

here is what we can do:

-be sure to tell the official page on twitter that you support the game and want them to do better. https://twitter.com/InjusticeGame.

But if you are not going to be civil, don't even bother

submit a pleasing review of the game over at metacritic, so that more people buy this, therefore giving nrs a reason to do more with this game
link: http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/injustice-gods-among-us

lastly, DO NOT RANT

that will get us nowhere. It will promote even worse actions be taken to whoever reads those posts over on the internet, and even worse, it will not get the employees at NRS to do anything.

Now you may wondering "what are we supposed to, just sit back and take it? We are justified to so because they teased us with Power Girl and MMH in the past. NRS should hear our opinions because freedom of speech and democracy. They are a big company and big companies are evil"

Let me start of by saying that they are anything but evil. In fact they are just like us. They are nerdy, they like to have their fun and they have listened to the fans in the past.

I agree that fans should not be silent. I agree that we should tell them what we want. How else would they know, if we don't tell them? Right here is where my whole argument comes into play. Tell them what characters you want, but do so only in civil way, and I hate to say this but also buy the season pass, even if you don't like the fact that those characters got picked over so much more potentially better characters. I mean more playable characters and skins couldn't hurt you , and Lobo looks amazing. You will also be demonstrating how much you support the game, but even better you are funding new dlc.

TL;DR: show NRS you support them by telling the what you want civily, and if you do so in any other way, you'll only be hurting your cause.

do it for the characters you want, if not for any other reason. I told them that I want martian manhunter, power girl, atrocitus and booster gold

It's a FREE country because of the Brave. If people fill ripped off and want to complain they have the right to do so. if you don't want to read peoples complaints don't no one is forcing you too.

Kissing NR asses is not the answer IMO good luck TS

also in regards to Scorpion, face it we knew a guest character was coming. Freddy Kruger did better in terms of sales than the other 3 dlc characters, but unlike freddy Scorpion is a much better choice.1. because he IS a fighter. 2. because he is the face of midway and 3. he will not be the same Scorpion you have been playing for over 20 years. Rest assured he will be designed to fit Injustice's mechanics.

other people's complaints is not my problem, I want what everybody else wants, the dc characters he feels the game deserves.

MM should of been in regardless. He's a founding JLA member. Every founding JLA member was in this game. Period.

With this much complaining they will know better than to screw around with fans next time. I do hope the DLC flops so we don't get crappy choices in the next game (be it MK10 or Injustice 2).

Supporting a product you aren't satisfied with is not a solution. It's stupidity.

If fans are genuinely displeased they should be reviewing negatively, abstaining from purchases, and sharing their displeasure. There's a big difference between being a raving lunatic and a reasonable, unsatisfied consumer. The latter does not require phony positive reviews and smiles.

Measured and appropriate criticism is how you avoid being disatisfied in the first place. Pretending to be pleased will only get you more of the same.

Pretty much my feelings on the matter. He should've been in the initial roster.

People have already bought their season passes and all four DLC characters will probably do fairly well on their own as well.

And I don't think NRS care very much about disappointing people. MKD-MKvsDCU was one long era of disappointment and they changed very little throughout that time. And the disappointment isn't universally felt either. But hopefully they won't be assholes about it in the future.

I don't think there is any debate about the game itself being good, it is. But, when it comes to the DLC and if the rumored list does turn out to be true I feel the community should not buy into it and support NRS. Let the developer know your dissatisfied with the way they handled it.

Even if a second DLC season pass shows up with the top 4 wanted characters from NRS's poll, gamers should still boycott the DLC, just for simply false promoting the first DLC. Gamers should not get suckered into buying two DLCs. tease gamer with what they want for the first DLC and not deliver, then give them what they actually do want as part of a second offering to make more money.

I just find it funny that they asked fans to turn to social media to tell them who they wanted...yet all the DLC was decided before the game even cam eout. Before the roster was even fully revealed.

I also find their picks pretty poor.

But in all honesty, I just don't care. I think it's time we fans face the reality that at the end of the day, NRS is still a business. And with it, they are going to shit on their fans one way or another. We got an amazing game, but now we're getting some lame DLC characters.

I don't even hate the 4 chosen, I just don't think they are the best options, and can't see what conversations were had amongst them, to think those were the ones to go with.

Lobo? Ok, sure. People seem to like him, so I can get that.

Batgirl? Why? I like her as a character, but of all the options, why her? I would love to know why she was chosen. You knew we'd get 1 female in the pack, but out of Canary, Ivy, Zatanna, Power Girl, Circe etc. Why her? She didn't win the poll that was taken long ago...but by then they likely already had their characters already locked in. So why jerk around the fans like that? Offer polls you don't follow?

Zod? I get it. The movie tie-in appeal. Makes sense. In fact, I predicted he may be a choice. So i'm not really hating on it. I'd prefer someone else, but it just makes too much sense.

Scorpion? After all the "this isn't MK, we want to seperate this as it's own identity as much as possible" talk, why have Scorpion in the game? We have gotten to play as Scorpion for the past 21 years, and the past 2 if we're talking relevant. So why him? Why an MK character? He won't have a fatality, he won't have tons of blood... The only thing interesting is seeing him play in a different environment, with the background stuff etc. But is that really necessary right now? With around 10 characters with quite a big fanbase that aren't in the game at all, the polls they've done, asking for feedback, and all the times they have said they want to establish this as it's own franchise and distance it from MK...why would you do this on the first of the series? I could have seen an MK character in a future game...but this one? Give Scorpion a rest...we get it, he NEEDS to be in every MK game, but now Injustice as well?

If they don't have more characters as DLC, this is pretty underwhelming and disappointing. I haven't purchased my pass yet, so now i've gone to getting it 100%, to on the fence.

Switch out BAtgirl for someone more interesting like Ivy/Power Girl/Zatanna, and switch out Scorpion for Martian Manhunter/Dr. Fate/Scarecrow etc.

Oh well, what a shame. I'm sure the characters will be cool looking and fun, as usual, but that doesn't mean the picks are the better options of what could have been.

And as much as I hate this sense of entitlement people have with Martian Manhunter, you have to wonder what the hell they were thinking leaving him out completely. Even going so far as to poll the fans on whether he should be DLC over Zoom, only to not even actually offer him as DLC, but hey "we're not ruling out future DLC". Yeah, ok.

In the most polite way possible... :) This probably could have been posted in one of the several threads that are already dedicated to this topic. Again... :) Don't be offended. I'm just sayin...

Also, I have nothing else to contribute to this matter. What's done is done. This will all wash over soon enough and Injustice will still be a fantastic game.

Power Girl: Won the fan poll. What the hell is the purpose of running a fan poll, if the top choice gets put aside for the least picked? Where's the sense in that?

Ivy: Unique powers that are currently not being represented. Visual specials that would be very engaging.

Canary: I personally don't care for Canary, but she's representing something that's yet to be represented. And she has a unique ability that has yet to be implemented.

Zatanna: Unique powers that have yet to be represented. Could gain the character more popularity.

Point being, as I said before, I like Batgirl. But she is not the most interesting option, and what she can potentially bring to the table in comparison to the rest just doesn't stack up.

You can feel however, I really don't care. I just think the choices they went with and how they strung people along with polls that didn't matter, hints that didn't matter, and whatnot, is just silly.

I agree with Minion, I see no reason why Martian Manhunter was not included in the initial roster. Even if they are saving him for a potential sequel, he should not have been given the DLC boot, let alone been taken over by Bat-tits. With her confirmation, it's showing that the leak DLC is true and that there is no hope for MMH.

Thanks bro. I'm also curious. Ed said he wanted MM in the game. What halted his decision? I know this game went with a lot of NEW 52 outfits and characters. But MM was apart of the new 52 and he's gonna be a major part in the new JLA. I would of thought his inclusion would of been a good marketing tool to promote the new comic Geoff Johns is working on for him.

That's hardly a reason. Being requested is not a good enough reason to be put in a game. No one was asking for Hawkgirl (I was tbh) or Cyborg but they're in.

Ivy can't fight. Not really. She uses giant, monstrous plants. She's not tactile enough for this game.

Aw, I love her. But besides her sonic scream which is pretty limiting she doesn't have anything to offer either. One special attack that she can only really use one way is hardly variety.

If the DLC choices ruin your opinion of Netherrealm, then you must have never had a high opinion to begin with. Seriously.

Do I like all the characters? No. I'll never touch Raven, Killer Frost, Ares, or Black Atom. I don't care about them. Others do. Do I like Lobo? I don't give two craps. I am a huge Batman fan though, a Bat-Family fan, and while I was skeptical at first, I'm far from angry that we get Batgirl. I love Batgirl. So you don't like her? So what?

Don't download her, and if you got the Season Pass... that was your choice. I wouldn't get the pass expecting to play as all the DLC characters. I'd get it knowing I'd have the characters incase I do want them.

It's just DLC, not the end of the world.

Well that's great you feel that way. Happy you can be so optimistic, because 9/10 i'm Mr. Optimistic around here while others are negative and pessimistic about everything.

However, if they run a poll, make it for a good reason. Don't run a poll asking who the fans want to see, and then give fans the opposite of what they wanted. How about, don't run the poll in the first place? Problem solved.

Ivy can't fight? Who gives a shit if a character can "actually" fight? It's a video game, with special moves. There's a ton of "unrealistic" things about the game, both in a comic book sense, and to a degree of characters not actually being able to do that. Point is, anybody can be made to work. These games are for people to play as their favorites. Not just who can realistically fight. That's absurd.

I love how you say "hardly variety", yet what do you define Batgirl as? The poster child for variety based on what we already have? Ok, so you're cool with Tim Drake and Jason Todd Robins being added in here too right? Lets get Supergirl and Superboy in as well. Lets not forget Kid Flash and Professor Zoom while we're at it. Why not?

Do I come across as optimistic about something? I still haven't bought this game because of the lack of faith I have in NRS from MKDA-MK2011.

Again, I wholeheartedly agree with that. Never said anything different.

You misunderstand me here. I was the guy who a few months ago was defending Penguin's possible inclusion despite him not being the best fighter. I was just saying if she were in the game it would be more "her" to not actually fight but have some crazy plant beast fight, you know? NRS wouldn't even have anything to really piggyback off of to build a style for her.

What? I'm not saying anywhere that Batgirl is the epitome of aesthetic and gameplay variety. I'm saying that people are being hyperbolic about what other characters would bring to the table.

A fan asked Ed at the c2e2 panel why MM wasn't added and he said that he fought hard for MM to be part of the initial roste, but someone talked him out of it. Ed says he thoroughly regrets cutting him and should have stuck to his guns and held firm.

Maybe that guilt will make him change his mind about the last dlc slot.
