Perfect example of under-informed people, running to the forums. Relax.

FALSE ALARM (as roster)

The person who inquired about a magazine article Here has said it was implied that they are "within the story mode".

That does not mean roster. That does not mean playable. Sure, DO NOT rule them out as anything. But it is well expected that there would be a few characters to appear as cameos, that may not make the game.

Let's be logical people. Mature. Exploding fanboys over misconstrued text, will help nothing.

What the hell have you guys done, without me? Had a good relaxing break, I assume?

There are scans on TYM(so I am reading). But MKO does not permit them.
EDIT: Scans were taken down, thank god.

Even without the article, all four of these characters have been hinted via twitter. The theory over at TYM is that Doomsday might be a Sub-boss (which is an excellent idea if you ask me).

But hint or not, there's no way Aquaman and Shazam are not in the roster, and Boon pretty much straight-up said Sinestro was in the game on his noobde page.

Don't you think you are overreacting a bit? One guy said they were confirmed. Most of us manage just fine, ask for proof, and take things in stride. Seeing how this forum is mostly populated by long time members such as Minion, Temp, Razer, and myself to name a few, who discuss things logically and maturely...I think your reaction was a bit random and uncalled for. Regardless, glad to see you joining the discussion on this game though. It's looking promising.

Anyways, none of these would be shocking if they make the game. Here's hoping for Swamp Thing though, he's a bit more of a stretch.

"Picking up in Gotham City, the initial moments show Metropolis utterly devastated by a nuclear explosion. Batman is seen interrogating the Joker in Gotham, during which the Man of Steel blasts through the wall and attempts to kill the Clown Prince of Crime, saying something about being drugged and duped into causing the blast. We then flash back to before the nuke detonated and take the role of Batman checking up on Joker at Arkham Asylum, after seeing sequences of familiar heroes and villains fighting in Metropolis. ----Sights of such characters as Aquaman, Shazam, Doomday and Sinestro hint at coming playble fighter reveals.----

The quote doesn't rightly say they are playable, but that they are visible and the magazine expects coming reveals relating to these characters. In my opinion, I think there would be no reason for Captain Marvel, Sinestro, and Aquaman to be cameos. Doomsday on the other hand, I could see the magazine writer mistaking his background appearance at the Fortress of Solitude to mean more than it really does.

Exciting news either way.

A few caps does not mean I am losing my shit. You all know far too well, how fast it gets out of hand and it was literally as soon as that tweet was made. Best to nip it in the budd. I was making it readable, so people weren't overly excited just to be let down.

Perfectly understandable.

The title alone, is enough to get peoples hopes up needlessly. If this was a MK game, people would be going nuclear.
