My guess would be limited interactables and no stage transitions.

It's pretty much the best stage for Gadget characters.

Nope. Gadget characters have unlimited water for zoning, vs a good zoner with full bar on the edge you can pretty much call it a game, unless the guy fucks up.

I figured the water played a role. Which is why I always keep the action in the middle of the screen. I'll see someone going for it and immediately move in to stop it.

Probably because it's one of the most balanced stages IMO.

I love atlantis. Reminds me a bit of Rapture from Bioshock. That stage and Wayne Manor Night and Day are the only 3 stages I play if i get to choose.

Ferris Aircraft is the best stage in the game IMO but Atlantis is a close second.

yeah...why pick a stage that could help your chances of winning if you can be a nerd and pick one that matches the character's story.
