The firdt bad guy being amazo and it seems the injustice league is the main villain, until dark seid invades forcing them all to work together.

I do think the roster will reflect what characters are popular/mainstream media as well as use the Mortal Kombat variation system in order to include multiple characters of the same ( i.e. multiple Green Lanterns)

In reply to Kungkang12: Some great picks, like Doctor Light. We should should get both the female version, Kimiyo Hoshi, and the villainous male version, Alan Light, as alts.

Not too certain about Captain Cold though. We've already got an ice-themed villain in Killer Frost, who should return imo (and get MK's Frost as an alt). But if he can be differentiated enough from her, then sure.


JohnBoyAdvance: I was thinking of Shao Kahn as a guest too. For his super move, minions of his such as Baraka, Reptile, Mileena etc should take turns attacking the opponent.

Personally, I think Raiden could be a fun guest too. I'd like to see him get the full superhero treatment, as he's definitely the most superhero-like character in the MK series.

Please, not an unplayable boss. What's with people's fondness for those? Just don't play as them if you don't want to, and if they're overpowered, then just make them playable strictly for single-player, or ban them online.

A lot more characters could be added without the need to create a wholly new fighters if they get really creative with skins.

Take Flash as an example
He could have Skins for Kid Flash and Reverse Flash. Both skins could have a completely different appearance and voices but they would both fight in the same way as Flash.

They could even go as far as giving each Skin Character unique Supermoves that hit in the exact same way and do the same amount of damage as the Base Character but look completely different (they are just cutscenes after all)

Going even further each Skin Character Power could be different from their Base Character version ie Flash slows down his opponent opening more combo potential, Kid Flash could have a fast dash that passes through characters and projectiles leaving him on the other side of his opponent etc

They wouldn't even have to use Base Characters with the same abilities as the Skin Character, as an example I think that Killer Frost could work with a Poison Ivy Skin. Again totally different appearance and voice but Ivy would fight the same as Killer Frost except where Killer Frost is summoning ice for her attacks Ivy would be summoning plants and vines etc

Wild Cards could essentially be either secret characters or roster top-offs. There's such a great library of charcters to choose from that not all the good ones will make it in, and lots of obscure ones will probably beat out the better ones. I am hoping for a decent amount of Young Justice representation.

Guests: I hate guests but they're inevitable. In the case of Injustice however, there is potential for sensible crossover. DC has done many crossovers with Dark Horse as well as Marvel. They also have potential from other universes. Out of everything though, I'd most like to see: Spawn, Sub-Zero

i will literally buy this game if it includes my babe poison ivy.

I dont really care about anyone else, but could def see some suicide sqad members make the cut, hopefully enchantress

Am I the only one who wants Lucifer Morningstar?

Aside from being a great character, he's got his own TV show that's been renewed for a second season, so he's a little relevant.

For his alts, he can have Tom Ellis' likeness (TE is the guy playing him on the show), and his brother Amenadiel, both the comic and the TV versions.

There's also Mazikeen, his "love interest" (quite frankly, their relationship is more complicated than that). It'd just be awesome to have a playable character with the likeness of Lesley Ann-Brandt (the actress playing her on the show).

The Spectre. That's the character I'm gonna jockey for this go 'round. Last time I was happy enough to have Shazam, I'm ok if he's left out this time.

I am, it would be awesome to see Plastic Man and Martian Manhunter team up and choke/cutoff people's airways. Plastic Man in customised metal armor!

Spectre sounds overpowered to say the least.

Besides being totally awesome, Plas could be a real visual treat to play as and against. He can morph into pretty much anything, so NR can go totally nuts with him.

They said, and I quote, "massive roster" so this is what I'd want to see in order for me to consider a purchase. If 3 quarters of this becomes a reality, I'd say despite me passing on the first that I would heavily consider getting this one.
