I hear and I'm sure many others, heard the Back button will be for Block. Do you think us MK vets and new players should have an alternate control scheme or a Customizable control scheme to map out like our beloved MK games?

I don't think it'd be an issue. I'm sure most gamers play fighting games where back is block.

I'm sure they'll be button mapping but I don't think you'll be able to map block to say, the shoulder buttons.

I don't like it because of the issues I had in Street Fighter IV. When people cross over kick, I SWEAR I was hold block but apparently I didn't. You can't help but to question whose fault was it? Me? Or the game for not registering my block?
With Mortal Kombat, a simple button hold lets me know that I'm clearly blocking.

What I don't like is that the game's button layout is different.
NetherRealm pulled a Capcom and nerfed their controller scheme with ABC attack buttons. Just like Capcom's Marvel vs Capcom 3.
Why would NRS take any idea from that horrid game?
Just because MK9 did better than MvC3 doesn't mean you can one-up their control scheme.
I could sleep with the possibility that the game won't have an off option for environment gimmicks, but to copy the MvC3 control scheme? That was one of the top reason why I hated MvC3!
Jesus Christ this game lost me. I'm done.

Oh, and button remapping, is so not happening. Marvel vs Capcom 3 didn't have an old school control scheme, and it couldn't, because it would require more attack animations that's not there. And seeing how it's not mention on the spot that there is an old school control scheme option, no, Injustice won't have it either.

That would be a shame if they didn't.
