After this entire dlc debacle(which has proven to be at least half true thus far), I have a hard time putting faith in this.

They already have my money for the first round of dlc, if this does indeed pan out, I will not throw my money away until I've seen the full round of characters.

Well... it's something for us to hold onto. Even if the outlook is bleak, at least there's still a chance we'll get more of the characters we actually want.

Yeah, don't hold your breath. When push comes to shove, it's not his decision. Just like when he said with MK that, if DLC would sell well, they'd do more. He's just giving us a fool's hope.

If it was possible, Ed would have just said it was possible. Instead, he said that there was nothing to announce but they can't confirm the lack of future DLC either.

The only thing I get out of this is "if WB wills it, then it'll happen." That's true of anything, though. If WB wills an Elmer Fudd FPS game, it'll happen. The point is true but nonetheless trivial.

With that being said, If it happens, he'll be able to say "I told you so". If it doesn't, he'll be able to say, "We never said it would definitely happen".

It's all based off of sales though. Batgirl and Scorpion especially won't sell as well as other characters would. As much as people hated Freddy, he out sold all the other characters! If Zod is released with Man of Steel costumes, he could sell really well. If he's just a random NRS design, not so much.

There is so much fan service in the core game itself. I honestly do not see why people are as upset as they are. The roster that is included is fantastic. In the beginning, people were screaming for Aquaman, Raven, Sinestro and Black Adam. We got them. They wanted more females. We got them. A large assortment of costumes, both in game and DLC. We got them. And these aren't "WonderWoman in a Santa hat swinging a fish" Capcom crapfest costumes, but relevant DC universe alts. Yes, they were also demanding Martian Manhunter. If one characters exclusion breaks the game for you, after everything we have been given, then perhaps your expectations are unreasonable. And now with the DLC characters, we have been given Lobo (a great piece of fan service), and Batgirl. The fact that people are condemning her inclusion without seeing a lick of gameplay is ridiculous. Being a fighting game fan AND a DC comics fan, I'm interested to see what they do with her. If she plays well (as most of NRS DLC has), then her inclusion is 100% justified. As for the other DLC, we may be surprised. I, for one, would prefer that they saved some truly great characters and inclusions for the sequel. If MMH leads that pack, then it will be worth the wait.

I don't think he dose much anymore. He did allot in the first couple games. Now he sits back and takes credit for other peoples work. Similar to most Presidents. But at some point He needs to be held accountable for what he puts on the internet.

Exactly, plus all the current DLC characters were all in the config file of the game. I'm 99.9% there won't be another Season Pass.

It's not like they said the winner of the poll would have a spot in the game in all seriousness.
On another note is Power Girl that popular? I don't really follow her so I can't say. I've always preferred Supergirl.
