Well, I interpret that as Fate is not in the game.

No surprise there, but disappointing. It's cool to see him at least acknowledge his existence though. Means his name has at least been brought up. : ) I also like that others are all for Dr. Fate in response to his tweet.

As for the picture, it looks like a WWE create a wrestler from the games. I say that because if you look at his sleeves, they seem to stop at his elbows, showing skin from there to his hands. Fate doesn't have skin showing. Also, he doesn't seem to have the abdomen/crotch piece he wears, it seems to look like the trunks wrestlers wear.

You know damn well if Dr. Fate makes it, Martian Manhunter is a lock. There's absolutely NO WAY they would include him and not MM.

BUT

I do not see this as any sort of confirmation that he is in, I see it as quite the opposite. The video says "There is no fate" and the video song is called "There is no fate but what we make". Plus, the picture shows a very generic looking model with no real detail. And as I said above, looks like a created character from the WWE games.

I do however think it's cool that he at least made mention of the character, even if it is "he's not in the game". Doctor Fate hasn't been mentioned around here at all from what I can recall...but it's awesome to see the reaction on twitter of people excited at the idea of him in the game. Which definitely helps his chances as potential DLC or a sequel in the future.

Doctor Fate does provide a magical sorcerer aspect that isn't currently being represented in the game. He is debuting in the new 52 this Wed. So who knows...maybe in the future they could give him a shot. But as for this game, I just don't see it.

Sounds like something relating to Superman. All the talk about the sun etc. Maybe Superman uses Dr. Fate to do something with Time Travel etc? Dunno...

I think Cyborg is right. This hint is an indication he's not in the roster. I interpreted the Nirvana verse to me, "Sorry, Fate fans. We know you wanted him, but we couldn't get him in. Take this as our apology."

Yeah, unfortunately, I think that's what the realistic answer is. Each part of his tweet is basically saying "No Fate, sorry". Not sure what the pic is about, but it really doesn't look like an in-game selectable person...maybe background character at best.

Which sucks, because it's clear i'm not the only one who would like to see Fate included at some point, but, that's the nature of the beast. I didn't expect him to make it, so i'm just greatful for the acknowledgement. Before now, I don't think I have seen any mention of him from anyone at NRS.

I hear ya bro. But Fate is easily one of the most unique characters in DC. Even if he's DLC. He deserves too make it. And your support should be a good key to him making DLC. And don't forget about this.
