Guy on Reddit utilizing workaround on IOS game to give console costumes [link inside]

he's asking for your WBID and a temporary password (meaning, change your password to something else than your normal password to safeguard your normal email password)

I've already done it myself and he delivered.

you'll need a Reddit account in order to private message the original poster your details, but it'll only take a mere minute or so to make an account. just asks for email address and password, and reddit doesn't spam your email box so no worries there.

i was 20,000 credits away from unlocking batman myself, thought "fuck it" when i saw the offer and went ahead anyways.

the neat thing about it, is that he just unlocked the ios side of things. just the unlocks. he left the actual battles alone. i'd still have to complete them myself if i wanted to. he didn't change my credits either. just went to the costumes and unlocked all of them that i hadn't already unlocked myself.

i'd like to know how he did it.

If he beat the game legit all he has to do is log into your account on iOS and the stuff will unlock on you end. I've done it for someone else.

I'm only missing prison superman and I'm only 5 battles away myself. I'd rather grind and do it that way.

it's not like a hack that will give you an advantage at the game. it's for costumes.

also, think about all the folks who don't have an IOS device to even attempt to get the costumes. this is their ticket to that. and according to a comment above, it's not even a hack, more of a workaround/glitch.

there is nothing malicious about this. just a shortcut for those who either don't have an IOS device or don't feel like pouring hours into an IOS game.

OK, I understand that.

Now lets look at this scenario; NRS/WB decide to release a pack to sell all costumes to everyone. You guys "hacked" to get certain costumes. They ban your accounts from online play.

Do you feel you have the right to get mad?

(I can straight up tell you if this was an EA game you will most likely all be banned already. But EA are Satan.. )

i guess i wouldn't have the right to be mad being that i "cheated" to get the costumes.

in reality though, i can see these costumes being free coupled with the compatibility packs NRS will be releasing when every DLC character drops like they did with MK9. i highly doubt NRS would give non-IOS users the shaft that bad.
