Would you like this game to be similar to that of Mortal Kombat with each game USUALLY having at least 1 or 2 hidden fighters (playable/or not)?

I like the idea of having to unlock characters to have the full roster, it's more of a reward unlocking them, then to just receive an achievement/trophy. This especially works well for those characters that you wouldn't expect to make the cut or are just over-the-top WILD! Yet, this time I want a CHALLENGE, something that could take forever to unlock (a long-term goal) to keep the fun rolling for quite a while ($'s worth)!

I'd say Swamp Thing, V, and/or Sandman would make perfect hidden characters; especially Swamp Thing he's done got a pretty good fan-base & is kinda a side character yet he has been in many cross-over stories, yet I'm a bit skeptical on how he'd operate, yet I'm sure NRS could figure out how to work with him, same with Poison Ivy/Aquaman, they know what to do with them, but will they treat us is the question?

What else would you like to unlock in this game? Also, what kind of Easter Eggs would make you excited?

I would rather not have unlockable characters. It impends tournament play and there are many different things that could be unlockable that wouldn't interfere with the tournament scene. Like unlockable costumes just add more then one per character like they did with MK9(I'm not including the DLC Classic Costumes). I would say unlockable stages, but they are according to boon supposed to effect the game as much as characters, so maybe stage skins like different times a day or Metropolis during an alien invasion or even Adam West Bat Cave.

Unlockable game modes would also work. Like survival mode or an endurance ladder. I would also like to see character specific story modes even if they are only three fights long and not connected to the main story mode..

I really liked what they did with the hidden characters on the arcade ladder of MK9, so maybe something like that.

I would just rather see NetherRealm get more creative and less intrusive with there unlockables then just unlockable characters.

I think that half of the roster should be locked. Having all of the roster unlocked is really boring...

I'm sure many of you begrudgingly despise when Smash Bros. as an example, I really feel like that is the only fighting game that has done unlockable characters appropriately.
What ever problem with unlockable fighters impedes tournament players, it is no more than trivial. If they don't honestly have the chops or patience to take the time to unlock the characters quickly, as to be able to practice with them as much as the rest of the already available members of the roster. If it really is that big of a deal, they should just petition NRS to ask players when the first pop the game if they want unlockables characters (or anything for that matter) on or off. It really is no trouble to make things optional these days.

There are several neat ways of going about making characters hidden. Plus, it adds tons of incentive to play when you might normally get bored with it (a la Super Smash Bros.)

Imagine that Captain Marvel was a hidden character, and the only way to unlock him is to use every special you have available when you see lightning strike in the background. Though, I'm sure there are many more clever ways NRS (working with DC) could go about it.

This isn't 2001, we don't need unlockable fighters as fake replay value. I want to be able to practice and play with my favorite characters without having to jump through whatever silly hoops NRS has devised for me to unlock them.

An almost full roster from the get go with maybe one or two secret characters that you unlock by finishing story mode or arcade mode of something.

A cool one would be to unlock costumes like young flash, but to unlock it you have to win with each hit and move at half damage. It would also be cool to see cameos for those who don't make it, can be in a cut scene. So Kilawog can be in a scene with the green lantern

this is one of the things that does bother me. i really feel the need to have some unlockable characters and stages. not a large amount but out of a cast of thirty characters( my estimation) maybe like five characters that need to be unlocked and maybe like three or four stages to unlock

I'd like to have the Arkham Asylum stage with not only cameos but at least 2 or 3 unlockable villains, via their cells. Say you do something difficult and instead of getting a simple achievement, you unleash Poison Ivy from the Arkham Asylum, now when you go back to that stage, her vines have taken over the cell and the door has been ripped open; hell maybe even a scene that shows her whole escape would be kewl. She could leave a pollen spore plant behind as an interaction once she's no longer there and now on the roster.

Joker would also make a perfect unlockable here, say beat the game on very hard with Harley Quinn, and she frees him, now where he was, there are jumping/chattering teeth that can now be used as a background interaction/trap.

Scarecrow would make another good pick; he could leave behind a mist that if knocked into, slows the opponent down as if their fighting going to sleep.

Also, after hearing that in the Fortress of Solitude, you can knock an opponent into a mirror and it takes them to the Phantom Zone; If they made it rather difficult to do so, it would be kewl if a whole entire Phantom Zone stage could be unlocked if you can figure out the right path to get to it, as if it's a maze; kinda make it a game within the game.

I love the idea behind unlockable characters! Anything could be unlockable. My idea for a secret character (referring to the villains list) is that if you, say, pressed select + back or something upon seeing Mirror Master in a piece of the Fortress of Solitude, your enemy is intantly defeated, and you fight him, defeat him to unlock! Or incorporate them into a story. I like it all!. Unlock a Marvel or MK character, and since the game is GODS among us, in relatiuon to "Look to La Luna", when you see a full-out lightning strike across the night sky, in an arena such as somebody's fightership (The Batwing) than you can get a Perfect Match, replacing Flawless Victory, and do something special (No Fatalitiessadsad) Find something else) than you get to fight on a cloud, against Raiden!! Yeah! Too much? I don't care. I hope some sort of finisher is included. Personally, something I'd love to see, even though there is no chance in the world, I want to fight a Bionicle Character from the LEGO Club's series of mini DC Comics for Bionicle and Hero Factory, as I love LEGO. Costumes, you could do something like take Killer Moth's normal outfit and make it the Teen Titans outfit. You know what, just play Lego Batman and Lego Batman 2 and get some ideas. I'd love to have bosses like Clayface or Bizzaro Superman.
