I'm not a superstar at the game, but I'm not bad either. My main is Shazam, and when I try to get off a combo I get hit 5 times. Are other characters that fast? Is Shazam that slow? Or, does my internet connection have input lag? So frustrating!!!! Anyone else run into matches online where no matter how fast you press buttons you still get drilled?

Shazam's fastest normals have extremely poor range, his other attacks have good range but are kind of slow. Maybe you were mashing or others were simply frame trapping you.

I noticed input lag if you don't have host. I fought through a dozen losses before I got 1 win in a ranked match for the yellow lantern skin.

Lag isn't as bad as it was in mk9, but it's still enough to get you beat really badly if your still not great at the game. Which is why I'm avoiding online for the time being.

I think some people use the arcade stick, and like with any game, there are those who play cheaply or cheat.

I fought a green lantern who basically ripped me one without me ever having a chance to stand up. I couldn't block or fight back, or even use my super meter.

The game needs a lot of balancing.
